Hey can you provide us a link of that item, so we can leave alot of negative reviews for this dumass!!! Thanks :)
Magnetonium
That sucks, man ... best of luck to you with this.

Thats one of the reasons I have never shopped via EBay.

Always, for the next time, buy things from people with great feedback and long history of sales ...

Once I get my money back, it's open season on him. ;)
tw1tch
hahah, I sent a request in Paypal for $320USD, he refused it, said he would only pay $290, to cover the shipping he lost.

I paid $330USD total, he paid $10.34CDN for shipping.

Unbelievable this guy, I now sent him my weight information and a final threat, keep it up, it's either you refund me or you take it up with the OPP fraud unit and the Windsor Police and anyone else that may be of interest in Internet Fraud.
StereoPrincess
hey, why the are you paying shipping for him ripping you off?

that's bull. you have proof that he ship a dud in the weights that were measured and typical measure weights.
tw1tch
Well, he sent me $303USD, so I lost $30USD on it. Not bad I suppose, little ******.
rabbitjoker
Good stuff! Glad it all got sorted out (10% loss isn't uber-serious). :) :)

I'd recommend you empty out your paypal account and keep it at $0 balance for the next little while incase he files a "fraud" complaint against you.
StereoPrincess
that IS bad!

30 dollars is 3 hours of work for someone that makes 10 bucks an hour. it was a scam and he should pay all your money back.

trancehed99
its possible that someone in the delivery system stole it.

weigh the entire package
take pictures
send to ebay - perhaps the courier has a record of the weight.

they may claim on their insurance. you should have worked out insurance with the seller also but because its a scam ebay should take care of that, but I heard their policy has changed a little with that
report this to the police and to ebay and write a horrible review of his serviced citing this thread.

good luck,
djeso

they can shove their insurance deep up their ass, i lost about 200 US, ebay didn't reply to my claim in either case so it's not really as safe as it seems
