I was in the right place, but I was modifying the volume envelope instead of the pitch one..

All tracks must be in Monday night,
that gives you one more weekend to work on
them.
The thread that will work out the best Remix and remixer
will be posted Tuesday night Australian time
look for the post in the Music Discussion
If any one is having problems please post here
and I will see what I can do
If anyone els has a better ider where to upload
the tracks on free web space. please
post

| :eyes: :D :D Ive actually finished a track!!! Im thinking of putting some of my tracks up on mp3.com, but i just wanted to see what people here thought about it. What does the mp3 contract thing mean about your music, is it still yours? |

It seems to activate the LFO. Dunno what TB stands for (other than transistor bassline, which doesn't apply here)
and LFO is that line that goes up and down and that line controls a function you assign to it (pitch, cutoff, etc).
LFO = Low Frequency Oscillator
And that filesanywhere thing sux....i haven't managed to download gil's version of rocking horse even....Free space always sux....
btw I'll work overtime this weekend to finish a NEAAAAT remix of gil schwartz' track...i have a boomin idea....;)
[edit] filesanywhere still don't let me download stuff. How about if all of us throw together ftp space that is actually FAST and WORKING. I have some space left, prolly for about 3 songs...but i'm not givin out my user and pass, cuz it's my school server (important n stuff) which means I'll need to have the songs.....then when all remixes are in we (or I) can make one html page with links to all the songs on their own servers, all in one nice page. Or sumpin? [/edit] |

Ok I just been in FAW trying to download the 3 tracks there
and its ing starting to piss me off
so all uploading will stop at FAW
I'm looking for some free web storage(50mb)+
any iders or help
heres an ider would someone that has an acount
at MP3.com
would like to host 20 or so tracks for a week??
just an ider
or someone with a FTP to upload to??(would need 150mb)
what do you think

| Ive got an account at coolfreepages.com And they claim to offer 50mbs free. So you could start up a couple of them. Im not sure their policy on mp3s. But you might be able to upload realplayer files?? MP3.com sounds like a wicked idea. You could start up a tranceaddict section maybe? |

Ok Ive had to spend $10 to up grade to FAW acount to
200mb. With the up grade you can upload and download at
free will with fast speeds
All tracks will now go into the one acount
the acount is
user:daveb
pass:remix
all off dave b,s remixed tracks and Gil Shwarts
will be in this acount

I think you can only use there
web site for boath of what you asked.
to upload there are 2 folders, one named
dave b,s tracks and Gil Shwarts, click one the folder you
want to upload to, then hit Browse in the middle of the page
to slect the file on your hard drive, hit upload, then click start
to download just click on the track
and hit download. |

COOL, thanks for investing in this competition..
still, when I try to download gil shwartz mix, I get:

I'm downloading the other two at 32k/second though, not bad..
mine is almost done..
some questions. when does the contest officially end? has it even officially started? do I have to remix both songs, or can I just do davebs? I doubt I'll win anyway, this being my first remix and all, but I just don't have time to do pjotrgs, sorry buddy! |
