| I don't see this track as a classic track at all. On the other hand, Ferry Corsten Remix of William Orbit is super massive tune and classic. This track is famous all bc of Tiesto's name, Ferry Corsten is now famous as he is, that's why Ferry Crsten's remix is not popular or unkown to someone. Actually its his fault :D too many alises he has. |

I don't really know why, but i guess it's because he still can play most stuff he likes and also promote some music for his own label and offcourse ASOT gives him alot of attention and he thanks alot of his success to the show.
If it was 100% for the music then the show would be completely different, but i guess you can't be in the top of the dj list and earn enough when you do everything you really would like to do. |

He doesn't necessarily hate it. He has said though that even he sometimes doesn't like some of the stuff he plays on ASOT. But he also said he wants us to hear the newest tunes, and that it's up to the listeners to make up their own mind wether they like or don't like these tunes. That it's not about what he likes (at least not in the first hour), but just playing the newest trance tunes to us. |

Take the underrated tunes that weren't on ASOT this year, and play them on ASOT next year, and I'm willing to bet they'd get a lot of attention.

There's a lot more out there than what is on ASOT, and I think a lot of people fail to realize it. Most DJs play "the newest tunes" in their sets. |

Maybe true, but a lot of people can't go to these DJ's for whatever circumstances, and for them I think it's quite nice to hear these new tunes.

May also be true, but the guy has played literally hundreds of new tunes this year, and I don't think it's possible to play all the new tunes that come out, so that's why he makes a selection. Now wether you agree with his selection or not is another matter... |

It's the kind of record that gives the more underground trance a bad name in the same way that Neo & Farina give uplifting trance a bad name.
I also find it strange that the world's number 1 DJ remixes a track that was done far better by ferry corsten. Sure, the tiesto mix is a bit "cooler" for the pill heads, but judged on its merits, the Ferry mix is far better. |

What are you suggesting? That because it was released by Tiesto, and is associated with being popular on ASOT that certain "people" are brainwashed into thinking it must be cheese regardless of the actual content of the track? |
