Global DJ Broadcast.
But than again, judging from your comment, i'll assume that you listen to ASOT and global DJ broadcast religiously and assume only the tunes played there are the good tunes to be released and everything else is that doesn't deserve any type of play.
And I'm not saying that he isn't a good producer, and you're right it is us who are classifying the music as prog, but that is the category it does fall into.
He is a very sound and consistant producer, but my major gripe is that lately he has failed to try and be innovative, and has just recycled old ideas from his previous tracks in his new ones. Of course, there isn't anything wrong with this at all, all I think the critics here are saying is that one should always try and further one's sound in a forward thinking direction, which probspot has failed to do lately. |
so whats wrong with producer's tunes being played on gdjb? it means that the tune is automatically cheese because shulz plays it? if thats your logic then all the other producers like chable, holden, lemon8 etc r ing cheese to since they have ther tunes listed there.
i dont listen to asot and gdjb by the way, so im not syaing everything is awesome on those shows.
it seemx like ur judging him subjectively by being influenced by other users here saying probspot and the whole other gdjb wankers are mcporg or whahtever this retarded name means and not onbjectively. i dont ing jump on the bandwagon and start bashing something that has a breath of fresh air in trance. before everyone was ing dissing 2 breakdown trance, now everything moother****** is dissing the thing that they wanted it all along, that being more innovative trance. what a bunch pms bitches around here bitching at profucers who are trying to add a complete different elemnt to trance instead the trance uplifting melodic piece of real cheese. |

1. Most tracks played on GDJB are crap.
2. Alot of it is also "cheese".
3. Noone jumped on the bandwagon here except you; the person who only listens to GDJB producers because, wow, they appear on GDJB.
4. Noone wanted it to become what Probspot is doing now; McProg. It's a pussified and commercial version of real progressive.
5. Finally; yes, these producers added a "different element" to trance. But it's been done so many times now, over and over for the past couple of years, and enough is enough. It's time for them to either piss off and die or come up with something new. |

| Probspot is a newcomer this year for me. Maybe You'll say, taht he's making his tracks and remixes with the same sounds and all of these tracks and remixes are very similar, but I like'em!!! :p I love his Blueberry, Foreplay and Rico Soarez tracks like TV Dinner and Timeless + remixes for Young Parisians, Andrew Bennett, Endre, Recluse and many more!!! I'm looking forward to hear his album dated on the 2005 beginning... |

Well "the thing we wanted all along" has become exactly the thing we hate about the trance you speak of. Repetitive and boring. We are not looking for formulaic productions which show no new concepts or ideas at all. Am I saying that every artists played by Schulz is cheese or "mcprog"? No. What I am saying though, is that a large majority of what he plays is indeed repetitive and not forward thinking. Is there a terrible problem with this? Not really. There will always be artists that are trying to move the music forward and I will continue to listen to them, and avoid artists who recycle sounds. The thing is that eventually this type of progressive will have died like the old trance has. Why? Because there were no new ideas being introduced, and people got bored. |
