Probspot (pg. 7)

stop dramatizing...probspot can be summed up very shortly as, GDJB bedroom producer who will never aspire to anything other than recyclying the same crap ovr and over till we forget about it after a few more months because of a new wave of bedroom sound....wakeup dance music, trance, is dead...it is not dying or evolving it is dead, accept it and stop crying. Just as rock has died, it has died as well, that is not to say that its not around...you don't see much hype about rock nowadays, but that doesnt mean no one listens to it...same with trance, its kicked the pine. Who knows what the future will bring as far as dance music, i'm guessing some experimental house sounds will take over, who knows. Probspot is therefore an artist that only gets recognition because the limelight isnt shining on the big producers anymore that used to dominate pre-90's....it lingers now with the bedroom/wannabe producers. This post is longer than it should of been .... :stongue: :haha:

eh, the tracks were decent, I liked them, sure kind of annoying that he recycled the ing thing, but in the beginning it sounded quite unique and at least some of us had that moment, by the way did he come out with anything since TV Dinner? because I haven't been following

I liked Blueberry early on, the remix of Crossroads, and especially the remix of I Kill For You, their great tracks, Probspot is a good, not great producer.

He just needs to change his bassline already

Sure, if being "dead" means the following...

1.) TiC, a trance-oriented event, sold-out a stadium for 25,000 people twice this year, and once last year.
2.) Rock concerts sell-out stadiums all over the world.

Oh good lord. That's one of the most hilarious posts I've read here in a while.

I would add my words, but they've been well-covered in the thread already. Keep fighting the good fight.

Cats and their 9 lives must be really jealous, since trance dies at least 3 times a week in the forums. Didn't know that rock died at all though. And who were all the big 80s trance producers who cast a shadow over the last 14 years?

Yeah, Probspot is quite monotonous and Midnight/Discoteque is more than enough for my record box right now, but it's a good sound for a track or 2 in my opinion. Just curious, what kind of music is "alive" right now? Lindsay Lohan's album?
