Great thread, I have to get in on this....

#1 - WMC '04 - best club night of my life, entire Tijs set (Tears from the Moon, Roc Project - Never, Adagio, plenty of others). Then walking up onto the terrace and getting blasted in the face by the sun like WTF, Sander dropping a Depeche Mode remix into Origene - Sanctuary). Totally amazing night

#2 - PvD, Space, 11/03 - he dropped Another Way into Beautiful Things and I think I levitated. Then heard A&N Nothing for first time ever (so cool hearing wicked new tunes in a club not knowing what they are). He dropped Time of Our Lives twice & Crush once, sick f'n PvD. Met Scottaculous that night, he introduced me to some of you in the front (When those two s started fighting). I promptly joined TA the next day.

#3 - Ultra 3 - When Digweed stepped into the Twilo tent, the sun was just setting so it was getting dark & the lights started rockin'. The place packed out in like 30sec and Digweed absolutely blew the roof off. THICK ASS NO2 that would just linger... ahhhhhhh....

#4 - Tiesto @ Space, 9/04 - Sirocco - Destination, perfectly smooth, beautiful interlude in a bangin set.

#5 - Ferry @ Space 1/04 - Force of Gravity & Singing Punk

ultra 2 (2000)

1. underworld-dark & long (some guy with a blue paw print on the back of his head) first song we heard when we walked in

2. hybrid-finished symphony (hybrid) playing it at sunset on the beach. cant ask for more. then acosta's ego took control and he started spinning as they were still playing and they walked off the stage

3. star party-im in love with you (talla) talla put on a great show

the trance tent could hold about 100-200 people then.

Ultra 2k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how could I forget!!! .. my 1st Ultra. Partying on the Beach = Priceless.

you remember how small that tent was? and the main stage was smaller than any of the stages are now for ultra.

gatecrasher tent was crazy. talla and then tall paul killed me.

ultra 6 - sander kleinenberg - when he played "adam freeland-smells like teen spirit" i thought that was pretty intense. when the guitar riff came in. seemed like after that song, ultra really got started.

I might be a little late to this thread, but I just re-uped, so here are a few:

Eric Prydz - Call on Me (Carl Cox @ Space Ibiza. August 24, 2004) The song's popularity was peaking at the time. Energy sooo high, such a happy song!! I was thinking about it even when I was at Armada night @ Amnesia afterwards)

Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel (PvD @ Fight the Power Demonstration. July 2004) Just the context that it was a demonstration to reinstate the Love Parade in Berlin, I was marching/dancing along the right side of the Vandit float, the weather was clearing and the sun was setting over the skyline of Berlin as we were marching back)

Tiesto - Love Comes Again (Tiesto @ Ultra 6, March 2004). The first time me and my friend Scott heard it and we were like "Oh !! What is this?!?! Do you know? No. Do you know? No. WHAAAA!!!"

Madonna - Die Another Day (Tiesto @ Space during WMC 2003). I had no idea he had done the remix for it. The pounding just stopped and Madonna started. I was like no waaaay!)

Paul Van Dyk - Take Me Higher (PvD @ Glow, December 2002). IMO PvD's greatest set ever. Hearing this rare track was the icing on the cake

Thrillseekers - Synathesia (Ferry Corsten @ Dance Valley 10, August 2004) After a wicked set by Johan Gielen, two helicopters flew over the crowd and dumped bags of flower petals on us while this song was playing. Epic trance while the sky is raining flowers? I just started crying

Paul Van Dyk - Nothing But You (PvD @ Space, November 2003) He ended with this and it was just perfect. He let the record beforehand die out and that vocal hum followed it perfectly. Eventhough the song was being overplayed everywhere, it was a great way to say "GOOD NIGHT MIAMI!!"

Tiesto - Adagio for Strings (Tiesto @ Velocity, December 8, 2004) For my birthday, my sister made me a sign to bring to the show. It was the Dutch Flag with Olympic rings in the middle of it and it read "Congrats Tiesto the Olympian! Please play Adagio for Strings" In retrospect, I could have requested somwething a little more exotic, but it was my favorite tune and I figured it had a good shot of being played. At first, he looked at the sign and smiled. Then he took it, autographed it and handed it back to me. Two hours passed and then he dropped it as the final song of the night. I held my sign back up and screamed "THANK YoooOU!!" and he looked at me, stepped beck from the turntables, spred his arms and nodded as if to say "Just for you." Needless to say I was very moved
