ferry corsten at avalon 2.28.2004 - super 8 - alba
danny howells at arc 3.27.2004 - playing tomaz v filterheadz - sunshine and then bedrock - heaven scent back to back
junkie XL twice within the last year in new york - he has many many omfg i die moments
pvd at summerstage 2004 - add in the rain, and the fact that pvd played music that fit with how HARD the rain was falling and much of the night was sick
ferry corsten at avalon 12.23.2004 - albert vorne - a leaden way (MIKE remix)
sander k, multiple times - works you into a frenzy, then he will drop a SICK track on top of it

Rank 1's INTRO @ TRANCE ENERGY 2/12/05. The moment the announcer thing said "Rank 1" I started screaming my head off. Finally, after 2+ years of hearing their songs and their sets, I'd finally be seeing them. The end of that intro is also on MPEG video.
Rank 1 LIVE @ TRANCE ENERGY 2/12/05. AIRWAVE. I was alone at the moment. Recorded on MPEG video. I said "OMG" and felt a chill.
Ferry Corsten @ TRANCE ENERGY 2/12/05. FORCE OF GRAVITY. With Thero40 and RobDawg. I DID NOT think Ferry was gonna play it. I thought I heard it coming in so I started recording with my digicam. When i realized it was the song I said, "OMG He's playing my song" and I almost collapsed again. Recorded entire song on MPEG video as well. Highlight me yelling, "HOLY FUCCCCKKK!!"
Edgar V @ MIA Lounge a few weeks ago. DJRelik2424. Songs: Wundervoll & BREATHING. I didn't even ASK Edgar to play these songs and he did. I died, haha.
Arturo B @ Players last Saturday. Last Song/Encore was Wundervoll. I had mentioned to him I wanted to hear it, and he played it. Recorded some of it on MPEG video, hehe. |

7/5/03- Dj Tiesto live in Las Cascadas de Aguadilla, Puerto Rico: It was in a water park and everyone was half naked and rolling balls.
best night of my life, and i really havent had another OMG experience.

Johan Gielen - 11/2002 Joule@Osaka, Japan - Svenson & Gielen:The Beauty of Silence | No TAs, but my first major EDM event and it was awesome to hear that track.
Ferry Corsten - 2/2003 Underlounge@Osaka, Japan - Gouryella:Tenshi | Ferry held up the vinyl that had the kanji for Tenshi on it and then let the track fly. It was amazing as everyone instantly knew what it was and was along for the ride the entire track.
Ferry Corsten - 10/2003 HoB@Orlando - Ferry Corsten:Kyoto | Amazing song to hear right after Right of Way came out. Also got to make many new friends like Harold, Suzy, LilB, damon, etc. Great night and ever better afterparty. Led to the infamous running McDonalds stripper pole joke with Suzy and I.
Ferry Corsten - 1/2004 Space - Veracocha: Carte Blance to Gouryella:Ligaya | Never heard either live before and it was completely devestating, especially with the back to back. Ferry was aware with my obsession with these tracks, and after the set I was like "dude, Carte Blache to Ligaya" and Ferry goes "for you man, for you." Lots of TAs in attendance too. Great night.
Ferry Corsten - 5/2004 Space - Synaesthesia remix - Harold, DA, etc. | When he dropped this, only the 3rd time publically, I picked it up almost instantly. It was absolutely amazing.... It had alot of personal meaning for me as the PvD remix was one of my favorite tracks when I was in Japan, and now I had a ferry mix to listen to upon my return.
PvD - 7/2004 931 4th of July- Born Slippy - DA, etc. - Was awesome to finally see PvD and it was great to hear that song and relax. especially after the dustbowl.
George Acosta - 7/2004 931 4th of July- Kernkraft - Zombie Nation - DA. Not an OMFG I DIE....more like an OMFG WTF! DA and I spent some quality time together screaming out different cheese names at the stage. My favorite was gouda.
Yoji Biomehanika - 8/2004 motherhall@Osaka- Dark by Design - Blackout and Yoji Biomehanika - Hardstyle Disco - Blackout is just such a dark and violent hard house track. It was killer to see the explosion of energy after the massive drum roll. Hardstyle Disco was also amazing to chant along with.
DJ Remo-Con - 12/2004 velfarre tokyo - Barthezz - Infected - Still the second most popular trace record ever in Japan. It was cool to see all the Japanese kids just go crazy for it. Cheesy, yeah. Fun, absolutely.
System F - 12/2004 velfarre tokyo - System F - Spaceman | Never heard it live before and I love the track. I start going nuts, Ferry spots me, comes out from behind the decks to shake my hand and tell me to come upstairs later. I return to going nuts.
Ferry Corsten - 12/2004 velfarre tokyo afterhours - Too many too count - My absolute favorite clubbing experience ever. Standing on stage next to Ferry, drinking champagne and watching him mix. Got to discuss tracks, DJing, and life in general with my favorite musician on the planet. Highlights - FC - I Love You, Synaesthesia, Voller Sterne. Since I was tired, I think my OMFG moments were all reduced down to champagne toasts.
Phil Reynolds - 2/2005 fanjtwice@Osaka - Prodigy - No Good (start the fire) [Matt Williams bootleg mix] - My favorite prodigy track redone into hard house. I went nuts. I was Phil's translator while he was in Osaka, so I was in the booth. Turned to him and asked who made this... He goes Matt Williams got smashed one night and decided to make a bootleg of it, there are like 4 copies. It is just a ridiculously good remix and a must listen if you like prodigy. |
