Ferry Corsten - 2/2003 Underlounge@Osaka, Japan - Gouryella:Tenshi | Ferry held up the vinyl that had the kanji for Tenshi on it and then let the track fly. It was amazing as everyone instantly knew what it was and was along for the ride the entire track.

ing awesome! :D

There was a time that I would cross oceans in search of music, but my clubbing moments have to be from no other place than Miami.
I remembered clearly my firs nite at The Mix with David Padilla on decks, the place was right on Washington.

The Mix had a freon shoot over the dance floor that would bring the room's temperature from 80+ degrees to a heart-stoppin' 30 dregress at the touch of a button, lasers, a mirror balls (which everone pointed at with laser pointers) smoke, a dj booth high as an altar...andd David Padilla basically throwing the sickest tunes I had ever heard in my life...it was definitively a sort of religious experience, everyone there went for the sole reason to dance their asses off.

:eyes:

I kept going and I had lots of fun, but none of the times I went I could relive the "one-first-time"

surreal, yo!

Mind you, I've seen many different huge djs and killer venues, but the "hole in the wall" that The Mix was, had a special energy...it disappeared when after-hour parties were banned from the beach...rumours began right after about a huge club that was to open in downtown that would house all the after-party goers left without a venue, the rest is history.

From The Mix the party continued at the beach, in front of News Café...PA system and water sprays were at hand...:toocool:

George Acosta - 7/2004 931 4th of July- Kernkraft - Zombie Nation - DA. Not an OMFG I DIE....more like an OMFG WTF! DA and I spent some quality time together screaming out different cheese names at the stage. My favorite was gouda.

We were laughing at Acosta SOOOO much!!! :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Time for my additions!!!!

Ton TB - 3/21/05 BLACK HOLE Recordings Night at Players, Monday WMC. Song: M.O.R.P.H. - Maximum Overdrive (Benicio remix) OMG The last time I heard this was on 8/17/02, at Space, my first time seeing Tiësto live. in' BADASS song, I freaked out. It has that wicked, dark feel. :D

Same night: Solid Globe - Sahara (ORIGINAL) OMG I was so tired that I didn't recognize my song when it came on at first, but then when I did, I started jumping up and down and wigging out. I was screaming too. :p

Tiësto - ULTRA 3/26/05 Force of Gravity (Tiësto remix) I wasn't expecting to hear my song at ULTRA, but I did, and MellyMel called me...I was recording with my digicam and I was so excited I told her, "I'll call you back!!!" and I hung up on her...I feel so bad! :p

If you didn't like Acosta back then, I guess you wouldn't have liked Padilla.

werd. i'd heard about the mix, got to meet david padilla in puerto rico, i just came to miami a bit later than that. I did catch a friends other shrine, Shadow Lounge. What really left me awed was the bass. it was soooooooooooo hard & deep, and the pm/am release, george, dj wag, i think taucher was also spinning the first night i went there. I guess that's I'm in <3 with the harder stuff.
