Underworld - Born Slippy (Underworld @ Ultra 5) Just lights out fantastic. Goosebump city! I loved the energy from the lead singer
Airscape - Sosei (Johan Gielen @ Space Kremlin Party, WMC 2004) The timing of fog and lights at Space seemed impecable. I was going off in front of the booth and I couldn't see two inches in front of my face
Delerium - Silence (Tiesto @ "old" Space) I forget when it was, but it was the first time I ever heard it and I lost control. Same goes for...

2) being in Berlin for the 2002 Love Parade weekend, meeting up with a bunch of TAs from all over the world (England, Australia, Holland, Germany) and then going to the free Fritz Love Radio show where PvD was spinning in some park. we got there late, but as we were walking up to it, through the park, i could hear heavy bass and the lyrics "ing society" and we all knew PvD was on and started running to PvD while listenig to Reeloop - ing Society. This song started the greatest weekend of my life and i will NEVER forget that .
1) and my TOP TOP TOP clubbing moment EVER was April 19, 2003 at House of Blues Orlando with Brent, Greg, Cynthia, Jack, Alex, Phil, Dave, Arturo, Fred, Ginger seeing PvD. out of no where i hear the melody of For An Angel (my fav tune ever and never heard it live before) and i instantly start going nuts, then after a couple of seconds i realize its the PvD vs Marco V bootleg For A Revolt and i am the most disappointed kid on the face of the earth cuz that remix i hate. then out of no where, PvD mixes in the E-Werk mix of For An Angel and i had finally heard my fav track live spun by the man. :D
there are so many great memories, but way too many to list here, so heres 10. |
