The problem is that i dont think they are there for the music so much as the fact that the group is from israel. False pride in my opinion but hey to each their own. I was waving my Canadian flag at Creamfields Buenos Aires and there were no Canadian DJs and people were all holding onto it with me and thought it was the coolest thing. In fact my flag got me an interview on National tv!! So dont be hating on others expressing themselves. Thats not what dance music culture is supposed to be about.

were you jumping all over the stage with ur Canadian flag in Buenos Aires?
RobbyG.
I got the Koolhaus kinda early thinking there was gonna be a line-up outside AND the dealing with coatcheck.Well I got there at 10:30pm and there was no lineup at all which I thought was strange but whatever...I was on Scumfrog's guestlist and MUST thank Nat (Tatgirl) for this...thank you SOO much:) ...Well once inside, I got rid of my coat & walked into the Koolhaus and there was like maybe 5 people in there.I said hi to Deko-ze & just walked around a bit.I checked out the "new" Orange Room and MAN they really did a great job with this room.Awesome decor but hip hop is NOT my thing.

Well as the nite progressed I started to meet up with tons of people that I knew AND it was great to see/meet some more TAs:tongue2 like:

Spam...dude you rock:toocool: I had fun hangin with ya
Tordan (aka Ben)...as always its great to see you;)
the_broad...I forget your name:sadgreen: but happy to have finally met you
AwakenedAddict...So YOU'RE the guy with that kickass avatar
:D
Highroller...WE're you sneakin some "Melbourne Shuffle" moves there boy:tongue2
Irish Graham...Thanx SO much for sneaking me into the DJ booth in the Guv dude.I got to meet Scumfrog & enjoy a few minutes of his set in the booth.Actually my first time EVER in that booth in all the years I've been at the Guv...DAMN I wish I had brought my camera:(

Mark T...Good seein you & your crew there along with Brian & Sedgerick (sp?)

Didginut...I was really glad to meet you dude and finally put a face to the name:)

Dallastar...I ended up giving that "bullet" shaped thingy to the cops.I just didn't want to screw around with it so once I left I gave it a really HOT female cop:tongue3

drgoodvibe...Man I almost forgot about ya...Thanx SO much for taking some pix of me & fellow TAs...THAT is a sweetass camera you have too ;)

Of course I also ran into my liquid crew Randy & Steve & also met some more liquid dancers & it was awesome to "play" with them.

Anyway I found that I had NO trouble getting around throughout the entire complex which was a nice change. The Guv was packed BUT i've been to worse events for overcrowding. The koolhaus had TONS of room to move around & I just LOVED it.

As for the DJs....Deko-ze was great & so was Addy.Dave Ralph mixed it up real good & I like some of the funky beats as well.I'm not an Infected Mushroom fan so I went to the Guv to hear a bit of Scumfrog. The best time I had was when Dumonde came on.I heard these guys @ The Docks & last nite they rocked.MAN I danced my ASS off & kick stepped so hard that I was having sore feet but that was not gonna stop me from having fun.Dumonde dropped some wicked tracks & I loved how they interacted with the crowd:).I can't wait for these guys to return to Toronto.

Well around 5:30 I was getting tired so I left.Thank God that I don't live far & once home it was straight for the shower & then sleeeeeeeeep.

I hope everyone else made it home safe;)

No i stayed in the crowd. If these guys were on stage and IM did nothing then they probably liked it.

no I dont think so at all. I loved Dave ralphs set, and IM was good, If I had left then I would say the night was good. But I really didnt like what Dumonde played in that house.

Awesome awesome AWESOME night!

I showed up around 11:15 and thought the lineup would be a little long, pull up in front of KH and see that there's just a group of like 7 people getting in so I was happy that I didn't have to stand out in the cold. Got to the ticket window and it said 20 bucks, but I've never been one to cry over a few dollars for a night like this. I got in and Deko-Ze was starting to wrap up his set and I walked around to see how everything was setup. After a few laps I met up with the TA crew in KH and said hello to everyone.

Addy came on and took the music up another notch and started to get me moving with some nice hard housey tracks. Kept talking to some of the TAs and eventually I heard it. A CHOOOOOOOON!

Dave Ralph came on and started the trance off right. A perfect not-too-hard set to warm us up for IM and Dumonde. I'd never heard of this guy but he was great. I made my way up to the front row and got to listen to the flag-wavers chant In-fec-ted all night. Rude bastards. But damn they know how to party. I don't know what your problem with them getting up on stage is, they weren't hurting anybody and security kept kickin them off, noooooooo problem! Dave didn't seem to mind too much anyway.

Then IM came on and were ing AMAZING again. I'm 2 for 2 getting front row for these guys. And for their entire set I didn't stop moving. By the time Dumonde came on I was dead tired and went to sit down for a bit.

Dumonde started up and started throwin down the melodies. Amazing set but for almost an hour I had no energy so I sat back and enjoyed the music. Got up when I could to bust a move and left just before 6.

Shout out to all the TAs I saw/met, the people I can remember...

Cuzo
Tha_Broad
Newr
Callie (always a blast when you two are around)
Samhouse
Lauren (is the TA nick Swilly?)
TracedOut
Gamma
StereoPrincess
Tordan
Cono_Sur
Irish Graham
Rabbit Joker
Dallas Star (Just as energetic and happy in person as I expected!)
Robby G (!!!)

Anyone I met but can't remember I'm sorry, alcohol does weird things to my memory ;) Just smack me the next time you see that little nerd in the *Spam* jersey walkin around :D

All in all an absolutely amazing night!
RobbyG.
The flag waving doesn't bother me as much as that Security fat walkin around the stage telling people to get off. They we're off to the side & not doing anything wrong for sakes:mad:

So what? Chanting "In-fec-ted!" during Dave Ralph's set is deffinately rude. But they weren't hurting anyone by jumping around on stage waving their flag, in fact, in my opinion it helped to keep the energy level up. More parties need crazy guys like that, it IS supposed to be a PARTY afterall isn't it? Dave Ralph didn't seem to mind when they got up on stage anyway, I saw him crack a smile over it and IM didn't seem to mind either.
