Party - 10/10

Kool Haus looked GORGEOUS !! Never seen it as beautiful before. It was evident that Guv crew put out their best efforts to make it look amazing.
It was great meeting lots of new people, as well as dancing with the old crew ! It it wasn't for you guys, that party would suck.. because, IMHO, the music sucked.
I hated Dumonde's set.. Absolutely no flow, just a collection of mostly old tracks. It was like a crappy version of their Viva 2003 set(which was absolutely amazing, btw). I desperately wanted them to finish, but they went on an on.
"But why didn't you leave to see Scumfrog?" - you might ask. Well, because I was afraid that they would start playing good stuff after I'd leave. So I stayed till the end, but they never improved. As a result of this I almost completely missed Scumfrog :(
To their credit, their interaction with the crowd was great, they obviously seemed to be enjoying themselves, and people were dancing. So maybe it was just me :conf: ?
Nevertheless, a great party :D |

im glad somebody out there still goes to hear headliners for NEW upfront music instead of stuff that they can "ID". |

Nice pics, Beh!
I had a great time. But for me, this party was never about the lineup. It was all about partying it up with friends - TAs AND non-TAs alike. Many of whom I had not seen in weeks, and some, in months.
As for the performances:
Dave Ralph - he was ok, not really my cup of tea.
IM - they were alright. But I've heard them perform better - namely, the last time they were here. :crazy:
Dumonde - really nice set. Enjoyed it very much - so much so that I managed to stay right 'til the last track. :tongue3
Scumfrog - no comment since I spent all of 10 minutes in the packed main room.
Again, great seeing all of you and I hope to see you all real soon. ;)

I went not expecting too much, and ended up having an awesome time. The TA's were out in full force last night, great seeing you all and partying it up!
John: the decor was very nice, was thinking there would be something more, maybe just cause of the way you hyped it up to Shan and I.
It was my first time seeing Dumonde and he didnt dissapoint one bit.....
"It's up to you, you know what to do.."!!!!

To add my two cents
Excelent night. Got to spend most of it hanging with DuMonde, They are treuly excelent people.
The interview with the guys will be edited soon. I was able to record about the first 50 minutes of their set aswell (Wasn't the greatest part but it still worked).
As always, the TOTA's made the night :)
Now im off to find a way to wake up.
