| All my life I had grown up hearing a cheesy dance song here and there and loving it to death but I never really took the time to get into it or find out what it was. Finally one day I was getting tired of all the mainstream music around 2001 so I finally got on the internet and looked for this music I had secretly loved. I found about Trance, House, and all the other electronic genres and couldn't believe what I had been missing. I bought my first CD (Tranceport) and the rest just came naturally after that. |

Hmm... good question.
Mostly it was because of the internet becoming accessible to me. Kind of like an "oh, whats this stuff?" sort of thing, and that was that. |

| I've always loved electronic music. i got into trance back in the days of Anitlopp n stuff. however, I only became an EDM head following my first pill experience at a dance event. the whole rave concept blew me away i've never looked back  |

Hm, I think alot of us heard it in the charts when we were young, doesn't mean we got into it when we were 7 years old. |

| My sister gave me burned copies of Distance To Goa 1 & 3 that she'd got from a friend of hers. That way I got into goa-trance. I was 14 or 15 at the time. |

my first CD was also tranceport back around that same time 2001. but back in 1996, my mum bought me robert miles. i was 9 years old, and in the music store, i was a curious child, listening to all the headphones in the store. robert miles was a new release, so they had his album on the sample headphones thing. i remember hearing "Children" and "Fable" and i loved it, so i begged my mummy for it, and she gave in. but then, i didnt know what trance or any of the genre differences were, i just liked the music. |
