All those pretty boys faking all kinds of falls, injuries, pushes, shoves, etc... , be a man, get up and outplay your opponent with a good team play, not by carrying the ball yourself from one end of the field to another and then crying like a baby when you get it taken away.
Chelsea all the way, baby... all the en way. And Mourinho is the man. THE MAN. Doesn't give a about anyone he really shouldn't give a about in the first place. That's the way, brotha... |
:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
PSV continues to suprise and it just might be them in the final. |

wooohooooo
Liverpool still alive....the darkhorses of this years Champions League are playing awesome footy against the rest of Europe...
Chelsea should be a tough game but judging from previous meetings this should be a tight game. But hell if we can beat Juve, we can beat Chelsea!!! |

Well done Liverpool, Juve's out, at least that’s one team less that plays dull football! I’m hoping PSV produces a miracle against Milan and squeeze their way into the final somehow because I’m fed up of watching tedious, mind-nubbing football from the Italian big boys. There’s still great exciting football in Seria A played by some teams but the tactics of the Italian powerhouses, no matter how efficient they might be, simply turn me off.
Tantalizing atmosphere in Eindhoven today, they have that one PSV chant that goes on and on and on, loudly and massively all around, it’s beautiful. That’s one stadium I will have to spend 90 minutes in. |

PSV 1-1 Lyon: 2-2 aggregate: PSV wins 4-2 on penalties
It was a decent match as it was PSV that kept up a fast pace throughout the match, with Lyon seem very dead at times and not at its best. The wingers Farfan and Park Ji Sung gave a lot of trouble, but it was Lyon that went first through Wiltord goal capitalizing on a bad clearance by PSV defence. Second half, it was Lyon with a bad clearance and PSV defender makes no mistake to put the game 1-1. Lyon defender Cris nearly took the game with one chance that was cleared off the line and one acrobatic attempt just an inch right of the post. Park Ji Sung was making a pest of himself and he nearly scored with a thundering drive that was just high.
Didn't see the extra time. Stupid TSN, because Lyon had a penalty appeal turned down. Actually, the ref was... iffy with calls I thought.
So, the semis are Liverpool vs Chelsea and PSV vs Juventus.
And I only got 2/4 right this round on my predictions. Bah humbug. |

| Can't believe Liverpool went through (although I'm very happy that they did) :D:D:D Quite exciting, who would've thunk it :toothless :toothless Imagine if they still had Michael Owen too...and Gerard playing. At least they have Cisse back now :)...Next is them vs Chelsea...now that'll be an awesome rivalry to watch ;) |

Ya thats pretty cool, I right away relate to my favourite club Ajax Amsterdam and there F-Side which stands for fanatic i believe. Its unbelievable to see the proud supporters at a live match, but i'll cheer for psv as long as there in the champions league. |

Beasley was operating fantastically on the right flank, he’s such an exciting player to watch and a very hot prospect at only 22. You have to admire Hiddink’s tactics, he’s achieved tremendous success with very limited resources. However out of the two sides I think Lyon would be much more capable of giving AC a better run for their money. The critical moment between PSV and OL was Govu’s miss in the first leg when he was all alone in front of the net, that was possible the biggest miss in this year’s Champions League.
Soccecentral is on at 11:30 tonight, I’m sure there will be plenty of talk about the disturbance in Milan, I’m really curious as to what Craig and Jerry will have to say about it. I hope they have enough common sense to not call on a flare ban, I want to hear Craig’s opinion on the situation. |

It's weird, because Beasley is left footed and Park is right footed, so they were playing on their not natural wings. But yeah, I expect Farfan, Park and Beasley to give Cafu, Kaladze and Maldini run for their money on the flanks.
And you can outtalent Lee and Park, but you can't outwork them most of the time. Good on Gus Hiddink for getting the most out of his players, as Lyon didn't show up for a lot of the tie. |

While we’re on the subject of metalita Ultras let’s take this thread to another direction:
I got an exam in 3 hours but I just stumbled onto a nice TIFO site with several quality Ultras videos ( as someone already stated, you have to know your priorities ), so here’s a pre-game show in Istanbul to start it off :

I know what you're saying and I hope they don't have a continent wide ban on Flares but Italy hasn't exactly set the example for UEFA to judge by amd I think that was why alot of people were really pissed at the Cuva Nord more than anything. I've been used to the hard rules on any sort of Pyro in Spain; you light off a flare, it's 3000 Euros and a stadium fine unlike in Greece, Italy for example where there are basically no rules on them. Everyone wants to see pyro used for the right reasons in the stadiums; the beauty they bring a stand is unquestionable, but I can see why when UEFA see's complete morons like in Inter or Lazio or Roma or Messina or Torino or whoever throwing them at innocent players, is it really worth the consequenses it can bring from that? |
