Stadium ban and fine for Inter
Friday, 15 April 2005

UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body has ordered FC Internazionale Milano to play their next six European club competition matches behind closed doors. Of these six matches, the last two are under a probationary period of three years according to Article 15 bis of the disciplinary regulations.

Fine handed out
This means that if a further offence is committed during the probationary period, the disciplinary body may order the original sanction to be executed in addition to disciplinary sanctions for the second offence. In addition, Inter have been fined 300,000 CHF.

Milan go through
The UEFA Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie has been awarded to AC Milan as a 3-0 forfeit and Milan therefore go through to the semi-finals on a 5-0 aggregate. An appeal against any of these decisions can be submitted within three days from the receipt of the written grounds.

LOL...yeah good question :stongue: (I guess that won't happen within the next 4-6 games)

Here are the matchups which starts next tues/wed. (And my predictions)

Liverpool vs Chelsea
-Chelski to win 5-3 on aggregate
-Liverpool had a good run. I'm quite surprised pleasantly how the Reds made it this far, considering all the injuries they had. Now that they have more of a full squad, perhaps they can pull an upset, esp if Cisse and Gerrard plays well, supported by Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia.
But Chelski... well, they're the best team in the Premiership and Lampard is playing very, very well. Drogba is also doing well and Chelski depth may be hard to beat. I just can't see Raffa beating Jose.
Things look grim for Liverpool as they lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace of all teams while Chelski cruise past Fulham 3-1.

Yeah, Liverpool has played good in Europe, but Chelski isn't an European team...

PSV Eindhoven vs AC Milan
-AC Milan to win 2-2 on away goals
-It'll be easy for most people to pick Milan to win, considering it's PSV they're against. But even though I'm also calling Milan to win, it's very easy for PSV to pull an upset and one reason being Gus Hiddink. That guy loves being underdog and pulling upsets. He gets everything out of his squad most games.
Milan's defence is solid, but Stam, Nesta and Maldini are all getting kinda slow and may have trouble against pace of Park, Beasley and Farfan attacking the wings. Von Bommel may have one of the best freekicks and it takes one cross for him and Vennegoor of Hesselink to put it in. If Milan can stop PSV's pace and defend from deadball situations, they'll win. If not, milan is in for some world of hurt.

Beautiful win by my boys, the Rossoneri, 2-0:D
Didn't play great but got the job done.

As for today, Chelsea v Liverpool....
I'd be shocked if Chelsea doesn't win this game/tie....
Just too strong for Liverpool, but you NEVER know.
I say 3-1 Chelsea today
Crazy Serb
DAMN!

tied game, no goals... 0-0... fack!

Mourinho brought out all the guns, and that still didn't help... Robben in 60th min (HE'S BACK, BABY, HE'S BACK!!!), Kezman in 78th... and still nothing.

I guess that will make the next week's match A LOT more interesting. Do or Die! Just the way I like it...

TheVrk
Def surprised with the 0-0 scoreline....
Liverpool played just as they had hoped, so they have a chance.
I still favour Chelsea to win in Liverpool next week,
but it's gonna be a in great game:toocool:
Irish Graham
what a game!!!! im so glad the scoucers done well. They looked great in defence and they had the best chance in the game only cech made a great save to deny milon baros. Every neutral fan who follows the premiership wants the pool to beat chelsea as they have been so cocky in the way they have run away with the title, won the league cup and have the chance of playin in a european cup final. When you have the cash you can play fantasy football!! But how great would it be if steve gerrard and the boys could put on a great preformance infront of the kop and get revenge for that sunday in cardiff when jose lost the plot!!! from a man utd fan who for once wants to see liverpool win YOU"L NEVER WALK ALONE
