Should have been the other way around, but when you don't put away Milan when you had the chances, well, you pay the price often.

ing milan gets lucky one more time. So much for my prediction of Lyon winning the whole thing. But hey, when the tournament started, nobody even knew who da lyon was. And i still think they are a better team and only if they had Juninho for the first leg, things would have been different. Plus lucky goal with only 3 minutes to go sealed it for milan, other wise with 1-1, Lyon was going through. You could tell they were just trying to play defense and hold off milan, but i find that in soccer, you should always play your game, going all back will haunt you in the end. Plus they were missing Tiago too and he's their top 3 players. But whatever, they lost, no excuses.
All spanish final now??? possibility but let's all hope Arsenal wins a well deserved tournament, after all, they have been the best team in it even though barca + milan are better teams. Knocking off Real Madrid + Juve back to back, you deserve to win it in my books! |
