Hey I agree, that's why i only watch the Premier leage and the occasional big game in La'Liga. Didn't mind watching the Inter game though, not when you have two of Europes best young strikers on show. From what i've seen, Adriano and Martins are going to be a defence's nightmare during this competition.

Gotta love those two Inter strikers though. Adriano and Martins are going to have a very bright future in football !

How old is Adriano?
Kytracid
Adriano is 22 and has scored 25 goals this season in all competitions.

Obefemi Martins is 20 and has scored 17 goals in all competitions.

Now you know why Inter wants to hang on to both of these guys. Imagine how good they will be in a few years.

I know I'm really late into this thread, and I'm not a big soccer fan, but did any of you people laugh your asses off as hard as I did after the Chelsea/Barca game?

All that -talk before the game, then they lose. And then they "Let" Chelsea get 3 quick goals... poor bastards don't know when to keep their mouths shut.

I didn't really laugh, cause till the whistle blew in that match either of those two teams could have won that game. It was honestly that close. Yeah, Barca did allow those quick 3 goals, but then they responded superbly with 2 of their own. Whatever you say about the fued between the two coaches of the team, the game itself was probably one of the most thrilling exhibition of world class football I have ever seen. Absolute end to end stuff which happens rarely in the chapions league.

Also, they didn't just let Chelsea score, it happened as a result of Chelsea's superb finishing and passing. Barca were vulnerable at their defensive holding position with a key player suspended. It was this position that Chelsea were able to exploit in getting that early start. Had Marquez been playing, perhaps the opening 30 minutes wouldn't have been the downfall of Barca's champions league dream.

No no, the quotes afterwards made it seem like they went easy on chelsea in the beginning. On top of that, the hand-ball was BULL! The first goal should never have happened for barca.

Well, the Spanish are notorious with their excuses/reasons on why they lost a football game. It's always some sort of conspiracy ! Maybe it goes to show just how passionate fans are about their team and this silly game. When they lose, they have to come out publicly and say these things to console their fans.

Still, Barca's departure is bad for the neutral fan. They play good attacking football, and have probably one of the most gifted player in the world. It's sad that he won't get to play on the centre stage of club football.

well then the winning goal shouldnt have counted for chelsea either, but thats life and mistakes are made.

and coaches are always trash talking... which i think adds to the fun
