Three Simple Questions:

1. What do you do? (i.e., your Official job. por favor don't answer with "i sit around on my fat ass and spin tunes all day, blah blah blah.")

2. Do you like it?

3. If you answered No to question no. 2, please explain why and what you would like to do in the long run.

Ok, I'll give it a go:

1. Work for Jil Sander (german designer) as assistant to the VP, US/Canadian sales team and office manager.

2. Don't like it at all.

3. I hate office jobs and I work for a bunch of diva fashionistas that live on another planet. While I much rather be working in music/radio programming, I'm going back to school this year to be an english lit, italian & ESL teacher bc i love working with teens, love to teach, and want to make a difference, no matter how small. :)

go go go! :D

I also work at the NYU Law School Admissions Office, tutor two HS students in math and French, and I am an SAT teacher for 3 classes of 11th graders at TestTakers

2. I love my school and my classes, my office job is the best office job I could ask for (good people, very flexible, free time), I LOVE LOVE LOVE tutoring and teaching SAT's except when I get crazy ADD kids who don't take medication who disrupt my class, then I hate it...

FUTURE?
Fresh and young out of college IT guy!! Sure slave me away so I can monitor my accomplishments and goals achieved. As much as they think they are using me, I'm using them. A Fortune 500 Publishing Company on my resume with above par success rate in a year's time and proof that my effort contributed to generating revenue for this company looks pretty neat on my resume. Where do I plan to go...

Medical IT Field (Dev/Imp) now telling you would just ruin my career goals, the last thing I need is a flood of people into my area of expertise - sorry gotta stay quite on this one inorder to retire by 35 nigletz!
DOOMBOT
1. Working as a CSR for Sovereign Bank but am leaving to go to another bank April 11th. Basically like your general teller position but am going to cross train to work on the platform side screwing up your accounts when I switch over to the other bank. :p

2. Well, it definitaly is not something I saw myself doing while sitting through 12 years of school but it is a job and it pays the bills. Honestly, I hope this isn't what I retire as (a banker). Have something else in mind... maybe I will be able to share it with you guys in years to come. :)
ZzZ The Goddess
1. Administrative Analyst for Barnes & Noble Corporate Office (IT Department)

2. I bitch about my job from time to time, cuz when it gets hectic its REALLY hectic but in all actually this is the best job I have ever had and I have had a considerable amount of pretty decent jobs within my lifetime.

3. Even though its not so bad working here I would still love to be in a music related feild that is high paying and fun. (reality check, that will prob never happen)
verndogs
1. QA Analyst (Software Tester)

2. No...primarily because the room for advancement for people in QA isn't much

3. Seeing how I have a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and I hate programming....maybe IT consulting, Business/Systems Analyst (Sys Analysts basically write up blueprints for software developers telling them what should exactly happen in a computer program), maybe working on a startup, maybe playing poker professionally
trancaholic
1: Researcher in AI with focus on the algorithmic/computer scientific aspects.

2: Yes and no. I need to teach which is great fun when your students are motivated, but sucks big time when they're not. Furthermore, I *need* to be creative coming up with solutions for computational problems. That's a lot of fun when I suceed, but such a downer when nothing comes to mind after weeks of pondering. Oh, the pay's not great either - however, it will be when I decide to quit the academic world, I'd guess.

I was there once already and i left my heart with those people. I promised to come back and i will.
