You must be a true gimp, Piazza, to spend all your days creating new screen names and spamming TA.
FYI you might have to go create another one. |

| No, I didn't ask for Tiesto, Ferry or Armin. I was just saying those are the DJ's/Producers that I tend to listen to the most. And PvD of course. :p |

no offense taken, because to be fair you have a point. But, I dont think these compilations are over exposing my music, I think that TA is a very small community within the industry, and so although its old news for alot of people here, there are plenty of people around who havnt heard it before. I think the bit i disagree with you about is using the track on the compilations because of the underground aproval thing (whcih by the way was very well put, I just don't agree in this case.) Markus was the first person who actually took an interst in this track, before others had heard it, and this was my first beta version, he suggested things that I aught to change, and after a while it was very much better and very different to how it originally was, it seems perfectly justified that he puts this track on his compilation as clearly from the day he first heard it he considered it a good track, I dont think he even knew that I had shared the beta version online otherwise armada might not have signed it hehe.
|
Right. And I have no problem with Markus using your track because HE first discovered it. That's perfectly understandable and I respect that. I even remember reading a lot of GDJB tracklists a while ago and posting that Markus was playing your track a lot...which made me real happy cause it's important for TA amateur producers to make it big...it makes this community more credible and stronger.
What I have a problem with is that a lot of the big name DJs today only use and promote music from their own label to make a couple of extra bucks...which is sad in my opinion. I mean, it's great that they signed you and everything, but my point is Armin had probably nothing to do with this since it was Markus who discovered your track. Yet, he's including Space Guitar in his comp just because it's from Armada...see my point?
And it's probably better for you that the track has been included in more than one compilation, but it sucks for us fans waiting for more underground stuff and seeing the same track we're all familiar with in two comps just cause they're both from Armada. |

Well, I went to Best Buy and they didn't have ! Last time I was there, there wasn't too bad of a selection. Anyway, I suppose maybe I should just buy my EDM online. Amazon a good site or are there any other sites out there that some of you know of with some good prices? Thanks. |
LOL. That happens to me too everytime I go to BB. They usually don't have . Some places where you might find some decent stuff are Borders (I don't know how I came accross a Ben Lost CD there...still can't believe it!) and maybe FYE. Also, Specs (dunno if there's one in your area) seems to have a number of pretty good comps not available at BB, Target and all those other big places.
Otherwise, stick to Amazon. They pretty much have everything you might be looking for. |

memusa you're dead wrong here, it's as if you're suggesting since Armin and Markus played the same song, one of them should now cease to play it :conf: yea right.
They are 2 separate artists with 2 separate styles, and the only thing that bonds them is Armada really, let's put aside the fact that they are friends.
NOW if you ran Armada would you want to sell the same song on 2 CDs ?
Hell no! You'd make less money because people would have to choose between the two.
But they did this anyway so obviously they are not in it for profit, but it's because it's what the artists desired to have on their CDs. |
