I just wanna say that right now while I type I'm downloading Nu-NRG - Dreamland, Ayumi Hamasaki - Appears, Fragma - Say you'll be there and Lange - Drifting Away, all from the stuff posted here on TA last night.
These are all bloody top quality tracks that have been released in the last few weeks - and you guys are arguing about whether uplifting trance is dead? Sheesh ... maybe you better spend less time posting and more time listening to what's right under your own noses :rolleyes:

well he (Jukx) didn't realy say that urban train was but the new remixes.. okay the cosmic gate rmx sounds quite good but the wippenberg is ( i think) very cheezy.. it doesn't add something possitif to the original.. the cosmic gate remix does this a little bit but i think a lot of guys will not be listening to this remix in a short while.. and what if he didn't like the original, that's his opinion, not everybody likes the same tunes!!
btw.. Nu-NRG - Dreamland, an quite old but good tune :D:D, i still listen to this tune and still love it.. this is what makes a good tune i think.. that it doesn't only sound great but that you will keep on listing too it.. tunes like: urban train (original), appears (avb remix), clear blue water (ferry corsten remix), rapture (riva, avb remix), ppk, silverblue, please save me (push remix), sunset on ibiza (enrico remix).. and Cygnus X - Positron (Marco V V.ision Remix !!!) etc etc.. i still listen to them very often.. |

Alright.... I don't get it.
I'm new in this forum, so I know my oppinion doesn't matter much, but what is the point of saying one type of musics sucks, and another doesn't.
I could go on a Country forum and preach for hours how much county blows, and some red neck could come on here any tell us that all electonic music is .... either way it's all a matter of what you like, one kind of music is no worse than another... I hate Techno, but I can see why people might like it... and I don't think it's ty music... I just don't like it !
I don't get why you guys get all pissed off at each other :)

Unfortunately I don't think you're right.
When people are trancEaddicts, their feelings for a certain genre or kind of music are very strong -- and therefore it's quite normal for them to dislike other sub-genres or kinds of music. Nothing wrong with that at all. There are people with stronger opinions than others. |

| ok many of u might hate me for saying this .... i never relized how the epic sound is so dead ..... until i started djing... i was as big of a epic trance fan as anyone on this board.... and the epic is so old to me now...it doesnt do nothing to me anymore well i cant say that there are still some tunes comming but not like it used to ...Trance is seriously leaning away from the whole epic sound..... i know most of u dont like to hear that but its true ...its old school trance now pretty much hahaha... from the way i see it Trance/Progressive is leaning way more to the Techy side of things..the beats are more developed and more imphasis oh the beat structure .... but dont get me wrong melodies still will be there ..but more of a quieter way and not that domanding .... melodies will not play the anthem role as it did before....the whole anthem thing has gotten old to many djs and many producers thats why u see tiesto playing less epic then he has before ... and many other djs are doing the same ...this is a sign and all these djs that still trying to produce that Anthem hit to make it big ..well they need to get with the times ..its not about the loud melodic riffs that dominate as it did back in 98 -99 ... i say its all about the beats now a days.... well thats from my point of vew and many i talk to that are djs whether its big djs or bedroom djs......well i dunno if i like it cuz i always liked it i dont think thats the case ..but i think i like the way its heading cuz im growing with trance and adapting with the new sounds and what is the sound the works .... |
