Really, why do you need to know people's sexual orientation? is it gonna make a difference in your life?

OR

are you trying to find out who's gay so you can hit on them and not be scared of getting a "dood i'm straight" response?

whoa whoa... its just a question girl... its not necessarily for some ambiguous purpose habibi... i dont find it pointless. its just a curiousity or question amb_ had, like so many of every other single thread on TOTA

On a different note, I was just talking to my buddy Sean who just got back from WMC where he spun a couple sets

The place they put him up in was this INSANE mansion... :eyes: :eyes: holy crap was it beautiful! (i have a pic or two at home ill post! :eyespop: ) said he hooked up w/ an army guy! LOL its all about pulling ass (be it gay or straight ass) when ur down in florida at WMC! LOOOOOOOOL ;) its the weather and the heat and the energy (oh and im sure the massive pools and hottubs help too!)

Im totally jealous of him, bc he got to sign a whole bunch of chicks chests too after he finished his set! Bastard! he doesnt even care about ! :whip: :disbelief

I just don't see the need for people's sexual orientation to be discussed... but hey that's just me!
also it makes no difference to me whether a person is straight, gay or bi. What I'm trying to say is that i don't think there's a need to put a 'label' in people's sexual orientation... if anything, I feel like this thread would single out the minority...
Didn't mean to offend anyone!

I'm glad that you clarified.

I pretty much feel the same way, in that I don't care what ppl's sexual orientation is, and nor do any of my friends- we'll accept anyone who is a good person, fun to party/ shill w/ etc. Being around ppl that feel that way sometimes makes us forget what other ppl's experinces are like, and why they may feel the need to find ppl in the same situation.

Oh, u didnt offend me Lars girl :tongue3 :)

but i guess i see now whut u meant.

Meh... being bi or gay or straight dont matter at all to me either... but i must admit im curious as to whut ppl are sometimes... not that it ever comes up much... and whutever the response is, doesnt affect whut i think of that person at all.

to me, its just like knowing weather or not ur an ass or breasts man, if ur a blonde or brunette man (and vice versa for the ladies)

ur right, it dont really matter, but to me its not a big deal of a question to find out about and just adds one more dimension to that person you call a friend or acquaintance (not a negative or a positive dimension, just a dimension)... its a en shame some ppl would find out that information and respond unfavourably.

i totally agree with you. I'm all about being 'label-free'.
it's true that not everyone is around people who are comfortable with anything and i def see why there's a need to find ppl in the same situation. I'm just glad I was brought up this way, and am lucky to have friends who think like me.

not a pointless thread at all. Orientation doesn't "matter" with regard to who you call a friend, your club crew, just chillin' with people, etc...but...it obviously matters if you're interested in meeting someone.

I must say that TA has been AMAZING for orientation not being an issue at all. The vast majority of people around here, while holding different opinions on various matters, are geneally very openminded, tollerant, and just don't care about differences that really don't mean that much! :)

I've personally witnessed people from TA hook up (guy and girl) on more than one occassion (which I think is awesome!). But I think it's a bit easier for str8 guys and girls, simply by virtue of the numbers...i.e. most people are str8.

i.e. just being on TA, you have the opportunity to meet a LOT of great people who at the very least share an interest in EDM, the club/party scene, and who generally just might run in similar social circles. I think that's a pretty cool start for meeting a potential bf/gf. I certainly don't want to meet someone who likes top 40 clubs or is into thrash metal, for example :D

if you're gay...it's not so easy. Many of my gay friends won't go near places like Guv or System, don't like trance or much EDM in general, or aren't comfortable in a mainly straight environment (which are all their own issues/tastes, and that's fine).

I think it would be *awesome* to meet a guy who likes the EDM scene, who would come out and party with the crew once in a while, and who just listens to something other than the crap that's on the radio or muchmusic...I'm not holding my breath though :( I wounldn't turn away my soulmate just because they don't like similar music...but sharing common musical and social tastes is a good start.

but really this post is to empahasize that I AM SINGLE...so...too shy to post? not out? then PM me guys! :stongue: ;)

Thats the spirit !! I do agree with annoucing your sexual orientation. It is who you are, and definitly could help you meet someone if you are looking !! To me sexual orientation isnt a "label", its part of who are you !!
