| i had a good time at this show also. Deff had fun meeting up with all the tx tas. I have no clue what was up with the guy giving away the free pills but i just gave away the ones he gave me. Nu-nrg was cool to talk with and were glad to sign my record and take a pic with me also so the 8 hour trip was well worth it. Thanks joe for letting use crash, helped us out a lot. |

hey jbooty,
i guess im the only one that noticed that speaker that kept bottoming out druing the night. That sounded horrible. Yeah i was expecting a paked club for nu-nrg, that sucked that it was not packed. Oh well, i had a great time. |

If this happened during my set I wish someone woulda let the sound engineer know. Every time I asked him how was the sound on the floor (hard to tell from the booth even with the moniters down) he said it was perfectly fine and took him at his word.
(edit) From here on out...if when I am playing, if anyone notices ANYTHING off about the sound... PLEASE bring it to my attention. I am an audio engineer as well, and will have a good idea about how to correct the sound going to the main room. There are DJs who play sets too loud, distort the speakers, and generally dont give a damn..I on the other hand, am all about sound. Cuz ty sound = not enough people dancing..and I dont play that. :)
So...if anything sounds off or is distorting while I am playing, wther its too much treble, not enough, too much bass, distortion, etc etc.. bring it to my attention. Every now and then I'll kill the moniters to hear what the main room sounds like, but at places liek eternal I cant hear the main room sound too well. I kept my levels outta the reds so to my understanding it was sounding well during my set..least I certainly hope it was :p |

:D Yup!..hey maybe ill go to Adam Freeland. So..it should not be hard to spot me..i usualy wonder around the whole area..and put myself in the middle of the crowed most of the time. :haha:. See ya the next best thing to grace our city. |

Its actually pretty decent..however... on saturday at Nu NRG they were barely doing ANYTHING with it. AT George Acosta there was more coordination with the music, strobes on the builds, that sorta thing to make the atmosphere more danceable. I won't lie when I say I was a bit dissapointed. | yeah sorry for keeping u guys up, me and my boy almost got into that night, he was seriously pissing me off. I must of been the only one who noticed that speaker bottoming out every now and then during the nu-nrg set. I know i was not just hearing crap cause ive worked in studios and i went to school for engineering audio so i hear all kinds of that most dont. Oh well its all good, had a great time at the show and it was well worth the drive. |
