I live the closest, so I'll kick the review thread off by saying FLIPPING INSANE. If DJ_Ballistic had been at the show, he would have been a puddle of Ballistic Spoodge.
Nu-NRG came on at 12:45, & didn't stop til 3:50 AM. INCREDIBLE for a live set. Someone else will ID the tracks better than I. Best live show of 2005, if not the decade for me (& I thought Infusion last month was pretty damn good). So good, & I was so tired from not getting in til 5:30 AM from seeing Felix last night, but it was SO GOOD I didn't want to leave & miss anything. Somehow I stayed till the end.
Incredible TXTA turnout, from Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, & Lousiana. It would almost be easier to say who wasn't there. If a bomb had gone off & all TAs present were lost, only the Dirk & Pro are bored thread & the sexual frustration thread would survive...

...that's all I remember for now. Overall, it was a great time. The only con about the night is that Nu-NRG didn't play "Bonsai", and they told me that it will never get an official release :( . Ownzed.
Nice to meet the TAs once again, as usual. Thanks to the free energy drinks that no one in the venue wanted to try out, I was able to keep awake for a while longer. But it didn't do a good enough job of protecting myself from getting served by the ballerina girl on the dancefloor, though. Ugh.
Time for bed. Haven't had sleep since 23 hours ago. |

but yeah, can't believe the TA turnout.. there must have been 30 of us! Was good to meet the others TAers I didn't know yet
Mattias played an awesome set and got the crowd jumping, then nu nrg kicked all our asses :)
I'll leave the track listing to everyone else but I was also very very happy to hear xpander and the handful of pvd tracks they dropped....
I did in fact take a ton of pics & vids.... i'll post them as soon as i'm done being lazy
