That's true. Every single guy that worked at the gun shop had a sidearm of some kind. Hey maestro, how do you feel about the Ruger P95? (Look at the right side of my sig.) |
Always favored German when it comes to side arms. I havn't fired that one, but I'm told it's quite accurate. |

I've only fired the Glock, which is Austrian. It's light for me, and I did well with the 9MM Glock 17, while with the .45 cal Glock 30, I had more trouble dealing with the recoil. The Ruper P95 is American made and 9MM and I've been told is quite reliable. Friday and Sturday I got to hold a Desert Eagle in .357 calibration. That pistol is HEAVY, but GORGEOUS. |

F*cking thing's a cannon. I'd rather hit the target with a .22 than miss with a Desert Eagle :) |

No doubt about that. If I had one, it'd be mainly for collective purposes and target practice, it's overkill when it comes to home defense. It's still my favorite pistol though, I love the design. IF you've fired it, what caliber did you shoot it in? .357, .44 or .50 AE? |

.357 It had the kick of a handheld shotgun. The H&K USP has a nice recoil reduction system that enables .45 cal opperation to be very smooth. |

I've never fired a rifle or shotgun but DAMN, that's some serous recoil. I'm a writer (non-professional) and love feedback and useful info like that. Jesus man, and .357 is the WEAKEST of the 3 magnum calibers. Imagine if you'd fired a .50 AE round...holy crap...I would sooooo love to try it, though. :)
