Episode III (pg. 3)

I thought the movie was pretty decent, but nothing spectacular. Some of the plot seemed a bit contrived, but that's to be expected in a prequel. Dialogue could've been a bit better, though. Still, the action was pretty nice, and it was kind of neat to see everything tie together.

the movie was just awesome, i enjoyed every single second in that enormous action-dialog movie...

even the end is better than expected :D

I saw it last night as well at the 12:00am screening, I believe this was the best Star Wars movie out of all the other Star Wars movies combined, It was right up there with Empire, But went deeper

i completely disagree with you. it still cant touch the originals. that being said, i thought it was good, and exceeded the expectations. some of the acting and dialogue were total crap. the loves scenes sucked. and it made anakin look like a total naive moron. but i guess he was. overall, i liked it.

We have tickets (nine of us) for the 7:30 showing here tomorrow night. I'm not a huge fan... in fact, I just watched Episode II for the first time earlier tonight. That movie sucked, save for a few cool battles. I'm really hoping that this movie is worth the money to see it in theaters.

Pffft...star war II sucked? you boring!! *thumbs down*:whip:

i think with some people (not all), how you would rank the star wars movies as far as liking them depends on your age a little bit and how much of your childhood you spent watching episodes 4, 5, and 6 over and over again...

what the latter episodes lack in special effects is made up by the depth in the plot...

Episode II was a piece of crap, storywise. All the sudden Padmé and Anakin love each other with essentially no development.

To be fair, the plot of the entire Star Wars saga is pretty \: /:. Stick this kind of story quality in a movie without good action, really nice graphics, and a sci-fi theme, and everyone would hate it. The whole thing seems to me to be one big philosophical exploration of good vs. evil.

That said the movies are still enjoyable.

ing amazinggggg!!

i love how all the expository bull of the first 2 episodes gave way for a no nonsense, tightly plotted, action packed finale in episode 3

some of my fav parts
- r2d2's heroics
- chewbacca helping yoda
- explanation at the end of qui-gon's discovery
- the droid's fate at the end.... the white hallway where yoda/obiwan/SenatorOrgana discuss the fate of luke/leia... is exactly the same hall where darth vader makes his entrance in the beginning of episode4 aboard the rebel ship (when leia is captured).... and is where the droids are left off (at the end of episode3) and picked up again (episode4).. cool!
- the obiwan-anakin finale

some of the sad moments
- darth vader at the end asking the emperor of padme..and responding
- the irony of how darth vader reacts to this, which is sort of a butterfly effect loop (since he caused exactly what he wanted to avoid, maybe not entirely physically but at least spiritually)...which begs one to ask.. could anakin's journey into the dark side been avoided?
