Incredible film!!#$!$#!%

Tied up the series nicely and answered most of the questions that I had......obiwan vs anakin end battle rocked and the action flowed nicely, plus JarJar kept his mouth closed, what more could you ask for???

...absolutely loved it, deffinitely plan to see it again before it leaves theaters

I think that the reason I thought this movie was actualy worth my money was because Episode I + Episode II < Episode III.

The acting, dialogue and mood really went both ways. At some points you could actualy feel the fear emanating from Haydn (Anakin) and at other times you just looked at him as if he's harmless. Natalie Portman really did a horrible job on this movie. There are so many obvious times where they really tried to squeeze in every single answer to every single question you wanted to know about Star Wars, oftentimes in bad taste.

The good? Seeing Yoda kickass with a lightsaber and seeing Anakin go bad. Also seeing Palpatines transformation from looking innocent to being completely sinister.

All in all, pretending I didn't see episodes 4-6, it was worth my money but never a purchase.

please elaborate. I kno not of what u speak of "mythology". O, and by the way I thought it tied with empire personally.

I'm going to sound like a huge nerd but:

A bunch of novels started coming out in the 90s which continued from Return of the Jedi. Han and Leia get married, have kids, Luke starts up a new Jedi Academy, fights his clone, and so on. These novels bring quite a bit to the Star Wars universe. They explore some philosophical notions about the force and are basically really awesome stories if you're into Star Wars.

The movies (episodes I, II and III) are somewhat contradictory to these novels.

For instance, why would a Jedi Master be using a ing lightsaber? They are way more powerful than that, lightsabers are for Jedi Knights.

Another example would the introduction of "mitochlorians" as an explanation of where the force comes from. No mention of this in any of the original movies or the pre-Episode I novels that I've read (I haven't read any for like 6 years). The idea just seems retarded to a REAL Star Wars fan.

As for III tying in with IV, I think that even this is farfetched. Don't forget that 20 ING YEARS pass between the movies. Luke and Leia have to grow up for christ's sake.

Watch Lucas come out with Episode 3.5, just so he can make another 300 million dollars.

Why did Sidous give the command to deactivate all the battle droids?? it Seemed pointless. It was like Lucas ran out of ideas & just came up with a basic one liner to give it a reason why there are no battle droids in 4, 5 & 6.

The battledroids belonged to the seperatist army, not the republic. By killing the CIS leaders and deactivating all their droids, he effectively put an end to the separatist movement, which could have otherwise been a threat to the empire.

~ 'Order 66' when the clones were trigger to turn against the Jedi. If this order was programmed into the clones minds then why didnt the order get given at the end of Ep2 Attack of the Clones?

Because at the time, Palpatine hadn't seized enough power to make his move - and had he executed the order then, he might not have been able to turn anakin. Palpatine's plan was to create a war and use it as an opportunity to gain more power.

Don't know if anyone's posted this but did anyone notice how near then end when Anakin has become Darth Vader you see the inside of the ships and the technology has reverted back to the blinking lights and old-school look that was in the first 3 movies? As opposed to all the holograms and adavnced technology that was in ep. I & II?
You know, to kind of tie them together so it doesn't look like episodes 4 through 6 are less technologically advanced.
Blue.
I used to love the Star Wars books, the best one being Shadows of the Empire. SotE would make such a killer movie.

Today i saw that movie second time. I love that !

But i think that tv series (between episode 3 and 4) is a ing bad idea. Who wants to see Star Wars on TV??? Only cinema ith 10 meters screen or bigger. Better make Episode 3.5 than TV series. First time in whole movie industry there is movie that have 5 successfull sequels at 2 hours each!!! (you can't find any movie with 3, but 5...it's simply amazing).
I hope sometimes George Lukas will make new episodes.

I don't understand what do you guys want to hear in dialogs between Padme and Anakin? It's a science fiction, who needs tearsly love stories like "Message in a bottle" e.t.c.? 6 episodes have no nudity!!!It's a very big plus. Just pure sci-fi action!!!

Lukas honestly desirved his money!

Still want to go 3d and 4th times! Episode 2 i saw 4 times in cinema. It's so bad that our big city didn't have normal cinema where i could see episode 1. That is ing Ukraine.
