Just saw it.. man I really liked it. I didn't like how quickly what happened to Portman happened.. heh.. to avoid spoilers. She just kinda gave up.
Umm..
Yeah. I really liked it though. Better than any of the other e that's currently playing. |

just saw it this evening
i didn't see episode 2, but from everyone i heard it was worse than episode one which was a complete and utter letdown
this one was pretty good, and if watching them in order would fit in with the quality of 4 5 and 6 for the most part
some of the dialogue seemed kinda ty and forced
acting was good for the most part
idk bout ewan mcgregor though
he played the part of obi wan pretty well, but his smile's way too flashy to be in character w/ the original
pretty good on the whole though |

So not e.
Excellent movie. Was finally the episode that made being a loyal Star Wars fan worth it. Was definitely let down by all the kiddiness in Episode I, although faith was slightly renewed with Episode II. Not sure why everyone else seemed to hate it, but I found the story of how the clones were created and Jango and Boba's involvement to be quite fascinating. And Episode III, man did things get crazy. I feared that with so many of the characters dying in this one, that the movie would become too depressing for enjoyment or be too much for the audience to keep track of and handle, but Lucas managed to pull it off. I've been waiting a long time to see another Star Wars movie worthy of being placed in with the originals, and watching ROTS last night granted me that wish. Time to start buying Episode 3 movie memorabilia! |

| it was good but some of the acting in it was so poor a baby on crack could have done a more convincing act, but all in all it was a good way to finish the saga. i saw it yesterday night and bought cheap lightsabers just for the occasion today me and my mate beat the crap outta each other with them i cant move my pinky and my upper arm is covered in welts. lol twas all in good fun |

If only they took out this line..
"Anakin, you're breaking my heart.."
Jesus christ, half the theatre was laughing when padme totally sounded like "days of our lives"
Deffo the best of the new trilogy...
best is still empire, and return jedi..(cant quite make up my mind) |

I just saw it. I enjoyed it.
It left me feeling melancholy though :(
*spoilers*
After Mace Windu was thrown out the window Anakin changed a little too quickly to become Sidious's lacky. Im was not convinced that the premonision of Padmes death & the Jedi's conspiring against him was enough to make him turn to the dark side. He was like "Yes master" all of a sudden.
The Anakin vs Obiwan duel was intense. When Anakin started burning by the lava & Obiwan just stood & looked over him I felt that maybe Obiwan should have changed his attitude & helped Anakin, though I know the flow of the scene served a purpose. It is amazing how far they took it really. Watching Anakin burn alive was an unconfortable experience.
General Grievous was awesome. He lived up to his reputation. I thought that he was going to do more Jedi arse kicking than he did, but he was still freaken awesome.
I am really happy that Jar Jar did not say a word through the whole film!!! :p
I am sad that is finished. I want more... |

| As one who was really into Star Wars once upon a time, I am thoroughly dissapointed by the new trilogy. Granted that III is better than I and II, it's still a piece of crap. Lucas sold out the rich mythology that was created around his original trilogy by authors like Timothy Zahn, etc. so he could churn out this crowd pleasing merchandising machine. |

please elaborate. I kno not of what u speak of "mythology". O, and by the way I thought it tied with empire personally.
I got chills when Anakin got burnded. And i also agree with whoever said he turned too quickly, I thought the same thing, but one must suspend disbelief (both physically and psychologically) because 1. This is star wars, they're jedis and "force-powers" and stuffie and 2. Anakin's around twenty and an arsehole tryna do the right thing, and he was under much pressure. Sudden change could be attributed to him having aided in slaying one of the greatest jedi masters on the council, so panic, plus fear of losing padme times pressure from himself equals dark jedi or sith.
