Sounds like a decent job, while being very difficult as well. My friend did steam fitting for a large industrial company called Jack Bird plumbing. They installed boiler rooms and such. I don't think he liked it, and from the sounds of it, it sounded like really demanding work.

I do exhibitor relations for Alliance Atlantis Motion Picture Distribution. That's just a fancy name....Basically, between me and these two other guys, they coordinate the distribution of posters and promotional materials with exhibitors and theatres, and I send them all out....So if you've seen an Alliance Atlantis or Odeon poster in a theatre, that's the fruits of my labour.

I love my job too, and sometimes I wonder why. I think it helps to have a passion for movies, and the perks are great too. We have a lot of launch parties with open bar, lots of promotional materials, movie passes, and a movie card that allows us and a guest to see free movies at any theatre across Canada.

funny thing! There was a guy in my old apartment who worked for Jack Bird. I always wanted to talk to the guy, as I was just starting out, but I never saw him leave or get into his truck. as for the physical side, not one day in my construction career has been as physically demanding as a good night of dancing.

Cool that you love your job, so few can say it. Its one of those things that people just overlook. A lot of hard work goes into what you do. A lot of the time people just think these things happen out of the blue

I am getting my BAA in Interior Design. I will be starting my second year this fall. I want to specialize in either retail design or corporate design. I am considering moving to Toronto when I graduate in 2008, I think thats where I want to work.

I'm an environmental engineer but mainly I have two jobs - look for dirty stuff in the water and poo. :) Yep, that's right - the poo. Poo is the main concern for pollution as far as waterways are concerned. I've gotten so good at IDing said poo possible outfalls that I am now a supervisor.

Really, I am a poo hunter of the highest grade. This is why I am going back to school for a masters or a law degree. Current BA is in geology/marine science - sand and water major.

And I do love my job - where else can you hunt poo? :D
