newtotrance, i work at st. joseph's in hamilton. it's an amazing hospital to work for. if you can get placements both in the community and hospital, i say you'll get some amazing experiences under your belt :) same principles of social work, just different approaches. |

Wow! That is awesome that you work with people that have mental disabilities. I have worked with people with mental disabilities as well. I am originally from Windsor area. I also did a year at the University of Windsor. |

I have heard of St. Joseph's in Hamilton. One of my best friends' from school here lives in Hamilton and has done some volunteer work at that hospital before. She works with people that have pyschological disabilities. |

3M Canada in London, Ontario (main office for 3M Canada)
I work in IT, I am essentially an IT bitch, with some actual software development work.
My term (internship, ends in Sept) and I get to finish my last year of Software Engineering. Yay, well, who knows...
Overall, it has been a great experience. Everyone is so friendly, and the perks are fantastic.
If anyone is REALLY looking for a position in 3M, let me know we get openings all the time. |

some good advice, although i am in the same boat, though abt retail, def not my 1st choice./ |

| I'm a press operator and hate it. It's boring and dirty but the pay is good for a summer job. I was wondering if any TOTAs have any contacts in the Architecture field? I'm studying Architecture at Waterloo and can't wait to find a job in the field. |
