THe problem is you cant play as a team for . Look at liverpool, certainly not the best team in europe on paper but they mde up for it with character and determination, and a bit of tactical genius by rafa!

a holding CM, i cant think on any yous have :conf: Gerrard and lampard dont cut it, gerrard should go, or else put up on thr right wing. gEt rid of beckham, he . Stick gerrard or wright philips on the right.
carragher should play alongside terry. Rio is to be much of a footballer. Hes not a battler and wont put his body on the line. CAmpbell is more of a battler, but doesnt seem to shout and and battle like carragher. |

| Man, I wish soccer was as popular in America as it is across the pond. At least we have that ty "fox soccer channel" that i can catch some games on. Im gonna try real, real hard to go to world cup next year... |

Yea, i know its gonna cost quite a bit to go, but im gonna be saving the whole year for the trip, and all summer for tickets (3rd selling phase begins in december), IF I decide to go. I like England's chances, but I think Argentina stands a chance...
If I do go, I hope Germany wins... party of a life time :D |

How many teams DONT have fancy boys in?! I dont think England is too bad in that department compared to our rivals! And I'm not sure what "too skillfull to be successful" means?! As for holding midfielder...we have Phil Neville!!! :D |

Bare in mind there will be more England fans there than any other country, incluging Germany, so I think the party would be better if England win!! |

Rio and Campbell were the best pairing during the last world cup in Japan/South Korea. You cant just pick Terry and Charagher to play at the back and think everything would be fine. We have 4 world class centre backs for England now and i think everyone can do a brilliant job.

Playing players out of position, you near enough sounds like Sven! Individually, we have one of the best midfields in the world. Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham and Cole. 3 of them would walk into any club team in the world, regardless of your own opinion of them. |

No they wouldnt walk onto any club in the world. Gerrard is over rated. Certainly not world class. ALonso is a more important player then him. Gerrard and lampard cant play in the same team successfully without having a holding midfielder. Beckham certainly wouldnt. Individually they might all be great players, but they cant play well as a team.
One of the best teams of paper yet yous cant manage to get past the 1/4 finals? fairly pathetic. NEarly as bad as france sure.
