Eh I am so sorry that this girl turned out like this. She sounded so cool. I am amazed how she even let herself get into a situation like that. Sounds to me like you are about to take on a charity case though. I wouldn’t invite her in just yet hun. Sounds like this girl doesn’t quit know how to make good decisions.

does this girl not have any family over here? do they know whats going on?
clearly its commendable that you would wanna help but i think you should definitely find out more about her and the situation before letting her and the related problems into your life completely.
you may well be a good judge of character, but i still think you need to get to know her better before letting someone move in on your private life.

Agreed.

Don't send anyone to beat the outta anyone. That would only result in you getting caught up in the drama. Trust me.

I guess I'm more of a skeptic due to occurances in the past. Your the optimist. Your a smart girl. If you really feel she's not a sketchy mess, then help her. If it was all in vain, you've got Karma on your side. :)

yea i know, trust me i'm not gonna stoop down to a low level and get people to beat him up...i mean if it was like a family member or someone i've known forever, i might take a more active role in teaching the guy a lesson, but i don't know her very well so i'm staying outta that.

I know most people would be the opposite…like making people earn trust and being skeptical at first, but everyone gets a clean slate with me. If I like you, I will do anything for you, until you prove to me that you’re an …and even then I always forgive, but I’m just a bit more careful…

So we’ll see…I’ll definitely bump the thread to keep you guys posted. I haven’t called her back yet to tell her that my roommate somewhat agreed, but I’m gonna call her tonight and tell her that he wasn’t opposed to it, and that I need to talk to her first and she has to meet him, etc..

Sounds like shes cool enough to be a roomate...I'd say doooo iiiit.
CraveTheRave
I like to have everyone start with a clean slate with me, but I've been screwed over too many times and I am a big skeptic of ppl I meet initially. And if I trust them and then they screw me over afterwards, that's that for me.

Yeah, make her level with you but make sure you level with her. Make sure she understands that if she goes back to him, she's back on her own, plain and simple.

BTW, I only beat up my friends bfs because they are my friends and I hate pieces of trash who hit women. So good on ya to not get ppl to beat his ass.

yea they all seemed kinda cool at the bbq, but I could tell they were kinda on the trashy side…and her bf is like this skinny little w/ tatooes everywhere and nipple rings and the dad looked like he was WASTED…he had that “loaded” look on his face, and I could have sworn I saw him take a pill at one point…wouldn’t be surprised if it was a pain killer.

Anyway, yea his family totally stands by him and she said the dad has been abusive to the mom..so they’re all a bunch of losers.

I’m gonna feel her out some more, and try to introduce her to some nice guys. Seriously, she is a total hottie and guys are gonna be lining up to date her…I dunno what the hell she’s doing with that loser.

Her family is in Georgia and her dad is “sick” that’s all I know…she didn’t tell me details. I think I’m going to sort of demand that she level with me and tell me everything if I’m going to help her out…I think she will.

So now there's double motivation to visit Miami again. :p

yea I know. when she told me everything on Saturday, I SO wanted to call up some guy friends and send them over to jump his ass…but that would be silly and I really should stay out of it.

she told me he called his PARENTS when they were fighting and they came over and his mother slapped her and was like, “ur a slut” bla bla bla

I was like WHAAAT! I told her, “dude, they sound like trash from Jerry Springer” and she was like, “I know they all ganged up on me”

with a bf and a family like that, i kinda doubt that she'll go back to him. what do i know though. anyways much respect for being so sympathetic towards another friend. btw is this the chick that you wrote that lezbo note to on the way out of the restaurant? :p

I wouldve reported a domestic violence. Cops hate that , and the state has to prosecute. Get restraining orders and what not.

I cant believe the question is how to go about moving in instead of "How can I kill a guy who beat up his girl friend without getting caught"

Odd priorities .

Thanks! I won’t get taken advantage of trust me. I’m definitely a good friend to have and nice to a fault, but I know where to draw the line and stand up for myself. I’m very assertive like that, without being a big bitch. I just know that we’re all human and everyone does stupid in their life and we don’t necessarily always mean to hurt the people we love/like. I guess I’m just REALLY understanding and sensitive to other’s people’s situations. Most people act like being nice and forgiving is a fault, but really I think it’s a rather nice quality to have. Life is too short.

i had only seen her dressed before and she's kinda little and thin, i didn't realize they were so big...they're definitely fake though, i could tell...but nice:)

it's easier said than done dude...trust me. if i see that she truely wants to stay away from him and move on, and he keeps bugging her, i will nip that in the bud in 2 seconds believe me. i know a few guys who would LOVE to have a field day with a piece of like him....
