I've met girls like those at my university too, unfortunately... except in most cases, they were brunettes. But there are 3 women to every 2 men at that place. so of course, there's going to be a lot of everything there. Fortunately, none of the shallow ones are in Linguistics :haha:
Heh, whenever I meet a girl like that, to quote the Northern Pikes, I hear a voice inside me say, "she ain't purty, she just looks that way." Some guys might not find the kind of women I find attractive to be attractive, but lemme tell you...
a woman with long brown hair, nice eyes, a nice smile, that can hold an intelligent conversation and dresses extremely classy>>>>a woman with plat-blonde hair, big bazooms, great in bed, and dresses like Britney Spears. And couldn't hold an intelligent conversation to save her life.

but i've met a few chicks who were more down-to-earth looking and had awesome personalities...their looks weren't average to me though because i usually embrace exotic or weird (to the rest of shallow society) features and think they look hot.

Well, no not really…although these type of girls is kinda rare here…for me the ideal chick would look somehow similar to that actress from Donnie Darko, mm… Jena Malone...yeah that’s the name…

The only guy I've ever fallen head over heels for, I mean short of breathe, scatterbrained, stutterish, feel the blood seep to my cheeks make me blush type was below par. He cut this own hair and would always have holes/bald spots in the back of head lol. He was so scrawny and was into the whole grunge factor. He didn't wash his hair much because he said his family was prone to baldness. He despised deodorant, lotion, cologne, etc. He was a bit odd, yes. But everthing was so INTENSE. I hung on his every word. And his girlfriend, ha a bit of a weird situation, was the most beautiful specimen I've ever seen. I still think about him every.single.day.
I'll always go for good looks, great personality before great looks, good personality. I don't understand how some guys can do that? How are you stimulated? Intrigued? |

| same theory applies to guys as well... i've met plenty of guys who stimulated me mentally yet i just wasn't physically attracted to them. i've also met guys who were drop dead gorgeous but the personality wasn't there. i've also met guys who i didn't find attractive at first, but after getting to know them and their personality, i found myself surprisingly very attracted to them. |

| I will answer your question right now. I too have thought about this issue. Here's the answer: When they are growing up, hot chicks learn that they can use their looks to their advantage. They are used to getting what they want and thus don't try as hard in school and don't have to be as nice to people. Of course there are exceptions to this rule. Your best bet is to get a late-bloomer. Say a girl was ugly and akward until like 18-19 and then she grew into it. She will then have had to have developed a personality but will be hot as well. |

yeah…that kind of beuty suits my taste the most…although I don’t have a certen type im always after, its either i find this girl attractive and good looking or i dont.
I guess im just frustrated since I cant find my ideal woman, maybe my standards are just too high I guess…

Yea same here. I remember this kid I was friends with in middle school & 9th grade named Ryan. He was kinda skinny with strawberry blonde hair and freckles and his voice cracked…but he used to put me in tears laughing with his funny little notes he would write me (remember when u used to write letters to all ur friends in school? Haha) anyway, he was one of those really attractive redheads and his sense of humor made him 10x more attractive to me, and plus he was always in all the gifted advanced classes cuz he was a smarty pants too. We never dated or anything but I totally had a crush on him.
i think he was salutotorian and ended up at Harvard along with my little nerdy boyfriend from middle school, scott. hahah i bet they're both so damn hot now.

I was thinking the exact same thing…some girl who used to look awkward and was kinda the outsider who got her looks sorted later in her life. she still has the personality of an outsider…in most cases she will be deep and smart and cool about everything…
