Im confident for the most part...
But im shy with women too. I wont approach them unless the situation is right, and I wont even approach them on the basis of "oh i think yer hot and want you"
it has to be a FRIENDLY environment where i feel totally comfortable.
I usually meet girls by just talking in a group and ill crack jokes or whatever. And maybe ill end up talking to that one person and things just happen.
My confidence lies within the natural flow of conversation and my ability to keep that going.
im not the "im hot and im going to strut my stuff" kinda guy.
so not macho like that lol |

i just tend to think that the way you view yourself effects to a great extent the personality that you form. i mean girls that are overly confident or guys for that matter...are bitches and s. people that are too self-concious are not dateable because they have a whole other set of issues...its all about trying to be in the middle...having enough confidence about yourself, yet not being full of yourself to the extent that you're a cocky bitch or ...
and i look at my own history with women and this is the honest truth...before my last girlfriend i didn't approach girls, they always approached me and i was like "wow someone likes me" so i'd go out with them and we'd date until they realized that i had a lot of issues and then they'd break up with me. i like to think i'm not like that anymore or working towards being better, but that's the way i was. and i think the fact that i was has a lot to do with the reasons why i really am nice to girls and all of that crap haha :p...
so i kinda feel like if you can find someone who was once like that, but grown as a person...they are going to have a great personality and be hot...
anyway, that was waaay too serious...
:stongue: :p |
You could be a little more though. :p
It is a fine line. You want to be cocky enough that girls are interested, but not so that they think you're a jerk. It's also different with different girls, so you have to feel them out. I would never think that I'm an , because I'm a nice guy, but I'll act like an , a little bit, when I need to.
Hey, Myra. ;) :p :haha: |

Same here.
An aside here, I always seem to get the attention of the ones that are too young for me. And it feels awkward as blazes. :stongue: |

I can relate to that too. Especially when I dj younger parties. I have 15-18 year olds oogling me and I feel completely uncomfortable.
Unless they're hot. :toothless :p :stongue: |

:haha:
I feel uncomfortable even if they're hot. But that's because of what happened in my Grade 12 year... stupid Grade 8s and 9s  Ironically, four years later, I'm being hit on by girls as young as fourteen. And I'm twenty-bloody-two! :haha: There's one in particular that is going to be a knockout when she's my current age... and I'm 28 :p At that point, maybe I'll give her some consideration, but not now.
If she ain't at least a uni student, she ain't for me. |

I've had a couple of older women make eyes at me, but one was a whore (quite literally) so that scared me off real quick.
A couple of my friends from church thought I was 25 when my birthday rolled around a month ago, though, so if older women come after me, that's probably why :haha: Coz they think I'm older than I really am. |

| Beats being branded as a sexual predator. Which happened to me in Grade 11 and 12, because some Grade 8-9 stooge in whom I had no interest whatsoever thought I was stalking her. |
