Can you Say Technooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!LOL!
Finally got to see THE MISTRESS and let me tell you She had the Best set of the night hands down....Great level of Energy throughout her entire set!

Dave Clarke had a pretty good run too, but I don't think he could catch up to the level of energy that MB had created in the main room!

AND THEN CAME PICOTTO...Got to see the first half of his performance and it was more on the darker side yet enjoyable and moving>>>>>>

Didn't see much of any other room, but the main room was defenitely the place to be...

Pics should be up soon.

Long Live Techno!

picottos set was actually quite dull from what I heard of it, except for when he played what sounded EXACTLY like the push by paul jackson, but without the vocals....I went crazy to that (well crazy for what I had left anyways) I wasnt too into the night after a lame incident earlier on in the night....But I had a good time for the most part....thanks to Anya, James, Max and Damielle(a?) for makin it a great night.....great to see lots of you again as well...

i was there around 11 and it was empty lol "tiesto broke the world".

then it got full, really full.

techno sucked ass.

skybar was so packed, it was hot there just like it was hot inside.

drink had awesome music, really really hot but it was ok till around 4 when all girls went somewhere else and it got scary, so yeah, that sucked too.

orange room was smokin good music but the vibe was just not right.

and i got so hammered i had to go to my car around 4:15 to take a nap and that was awesome.

all in all 3/10, i've seen worse

My brief review:
Got in to a relatively thin crowd at the Guv w/Graham, Vince (theneonalien) & NY TA's Ruby Riva (Caryn) & Drizzt81 (Greg), around 1am, while Mistress B was on. She was spot on!!
Dave Clarke-technically very good, a little too hard for me and others to dance to. 1.5 hrs of him ending on a high energy, and what the hell does Mauro go and do AGAIN??

Drops it down to the most boring dull beats possible. This is the 3rd time I've seen him do this in TO, and I really dont know what he's thinking anymore. YOU DONT KILL THE VIBE IN THE ROOM JUST CUZ YOU'RE GOING ON!!! Not only that, he kept it at that sleeper level fot the next HOUR & 1/2 !!!! WTF?!?! Only then did he drop 'Pulsar 2005', and it was too late to salvage the set. Headed up back to the skybar, to catch some more of Mark O, and returned to hear "Dark Room". 1 more track as encore & that was it i'm sure. He ended up only playing 45 mins of bangin tunes. He also made a point to complain (again) about the sound system as soon as he got on, which no one ahead of him had a problem with. Best comment I heard from a disgruntled fan: "I want a refund for my free ticket!". < It was THAT bad.

Seriously, not to be mean, but they need to seriosuly consider b4 booking this guy again. His last few visits have been completely disappointing and he kills the vibe in the room.

All night long I was doubting whether I had made the right move to go to Guv over Tiesto. My only condolence was that it was packed tighter than a sardine can over at the Docks. I'm sure I would've loved the music more, tho.

Only positive thing was that the Guv never got terribly crowded all night. The smoking lounge & acid lounge were closed all night, the Kool Haus emptied out after Jurassic 5, the breaks room didn't look packed either (& K Swing & Baby Anne cancelled), there was room to dance in the Guv all night, the Drink had the good tunes but was like a sauna in there, and skybar had a good crowd.

Mistress was amazing! Clarke was also killing it. Good to meet everyone you know who you are, good times!:D

I was wondering about this...I was through the orange room several times and didn't see any sign of a female breaks DJ! what happened?

Babs played a solid set, very bangin, had my hands in the air for much of it - as far as Dave goes, I couldn't even dance, I had to just stand there and watch him ing SCRATCH CDs...the man has the quickest hands I've ever seen...I was surprised he didnt rip the knob right off the cross fader.

Mauro was ing awful...bleh. I even introduced myself to him and he brushed me off, so whatever.

I wandered through the other rooms, but not really long enough to comment. I have to say that this was definitely an impressive event in terms of execution and comfort - easy entrance, people weren't as sketched as usual I thought, and it took zero time to get from room to room.
