Well atleast she was counting calories, and Im sure she worked out.

She might have lost weight, but shes also:
a. Not eating enough calories
b. Putting herself in a position to have alot of heart, blood and digestion problems
c. Vitamin and Mineral deficient

And she probably didn't loose that much fat but more water and glocose.

proteins are chains, easy to snip, fat is a complex structure difficult to break down and leaves keytones the "ash" when it is burned. Hard to use, leaves waste, and your body doesnt like to burn it. Muscle is easy fuel.

I did send you a pm.

, I forgot the biochemical model of a protein, all I know is that fat has three carbonchains.

Some good advice here, as most of you know, I have let my weight get the better of me shall we say, but I am losing weight a lot at the moment.. best thing you can do is cutting down on the amount you eat, so your still eating things like potatoes, but less of them, thats done the trick for me of late.... or if I'm gonna have desert at lunchtime in work (fruit strudel with custard or something) then I wont have desert after dinner.... common sense really, it does the trick! I've lost a bit of weight, slowly but surely... :)

There isn't a molecule of fat in a patato, it's all.. don't know the englist word.. you know that stuff that is stored in amyloplasts.

But the gravy we eat with patatoes that's what makes it fat.

A potatoe is allllllll starch (very complex carbohydrate).

Fatty Acids & Triglycerides have 3 Carbon chains.

Actually if you are worried about msucle growth, you want to eat a high GI food ASAP after workout. Your glycogen stores in your muscles have been depleted after a long strenuous workout.

Wtf did you read what I said? "First off, never eat any high glycemic index carbs except post workout (within 10 minutes)." Exact same thing buddy.

Go to the menshealth.com, t-mag.com, or jpfitness.com forums. Most of the people their with impressive physiques are eating at least 2g/lb.
