"WHOSE". OMFG. I hate to be a grammar cop, but Jesus H. Tapdancing Christ... It's basic spelling.

This ranks right up there with "rediculous".

A secondary goal is to increase the appeal of a car by chainging the apperarance of a car's engine bay and creating an attractive intake noise. These aftermarket parts come in many different colors and many different sizes, and are an inexpensive way to increase performance. 5 to 20% HP increase also happens, saves gas by using un-used gas.

I know what a cold air intake is, I was making fun of the fact that it's actually CAI and not CAE with 'entake' being spelt wrong. 5-20% hp gain? no don't think so, I think you mean maybe 2-3hp on a NA engine. if your CAI is close enough to the ground it also runs the risk of sucking up water when you drive through a puddle and hydrolocking your engine. CAI FTW.

you can get a 20hp gain on a super charged engine but not that much of a gain on a non messed with engine.

after reading all 10 pages of this thread I really want to see some engine bay pics of this turbo camary. If there are no pics then there is no proof and i will call bull all day. also, on note of the whole VTec or whatever it is, I would rather take a constantly variable system (VANOS forget what Porsche calls it) over one that just switches at a certain point (VTec, IVtec, etc etc.)

ile def get some pics up as soon as i get to my friends camera.

i got a 2001 echo with VVTI. good gas mileage and from what i've read it comes stock with iridium spark plugs.
40mpg. The scions carry the same exact engine and their labelled at only 38mpg. must be my seat covers or something
