im sure that carbon fiber hood makes it quick huh

And whats wrong with a skyline? They're fast, but not the fastest. Tell me you wouldn't take one if someone gave it to you.

where did you dyno at, and how do you get traction in a fwd car to get 0-60 in "4.9" when the boost kicks in. Wait a second, without drag radials or slicks that isnt possible. The tires are too skinny and the road is nowhere near sticky enough.

2600 lbs isn't anything impressive. That's a stock saturn, or a fully loaded civic hatchback. I have friends with 1800lb Hondas. Come back with the weight arguement when you are actually "Unloaded."

If you are a web design guru, you'll have access to a scanner. Since you "checked" today that you have 240 HP you will be able to supply the dyno sheet that came with that "proof."

I nominate this among the threads of the year.

First of all, I believe that I mentioned that my car is "unloaded". For those of you that didn't catch that (i.e. 3,000 lbs. comment), that means that the car doesn't carry as much weight as the typical Camry because of modifications (frame, carbon, etc). In fact, my car weighs almost exactly 2,600 lbs. with me in the driver's seat.

At stock, my car's engine was 130 horsepower. Today, I have a 240 horsepower (checked today) turbo under the hood. With intake, a modified gearbox, upgraded fuel injection, and the light weight, I find it humorous that anyone would dare call bull on me regarding its speed.

If anyone's in the Seattle area and wants to clock it themselves, I'd be willing to bet that I can break 5 seconds again. (Although, as I said, I've only done it once.)

confused. running 240 or 370 (cause, ya know, thats what a "240hp turbo" means)? while i'm assuming that it's the first, that car still must be such a bitch to drive - torque steer galore, hmm?

also, i'm back to portland this august, and would like nothing more than to see this 4.9 camry. how's that sound?
