With Clarke injured.. I think the current partnership needs to be damm good otherwise Australia lose this test aswell.
Australia need 2 centuries atleast now to get into a decent position to bowl in the 2nd innings and hopefully restrict England in setting a high target. ~250 - ~350 would be ideal for Australia to chase on a good batting surface (but then again, looking at Australia's current batting form, a target of ~200 by England would be a big ask for Aust) :( |

| I think the balance of the team is wrong. I'd drop Katich for Brad Hodge, and perhaps Tait or Kasprowicz for Dizzy. too much is being relied on just 3 bowlers, whereas england have 5 |

What, so you drop a guy who bowls not too bad spin for a guy that can't (to the best of my knowledge) bowl? |

Hodge bowls in county cricket here. However If you want a second spinner, pick Macgill, and give Hodge (who I can assure you is a scurge of many english bowler here) to score the runs that katich isn't.
As for today, well, it's manchester, you can't go more than 3 days without rain :( |

Sounds exactly like where I live. :)
Warne is going great guns on 78 off 104. Gillespie doing ok as well, guess you could call 7 runs of 54 balls solid.
Geez our top order needs to pull their finger out. :nervous: |

Warney you fool!!!!!
Oh well, he's now the highest ever runscorer without a century. Or so I am led to believe. |
