i think my TA area gets really boring at times with only talk about music. The COR is boring to me. but when i read some of the posts (know to others as useless) or pics , i see that everyone has a fun time. peeps need to relax & open their minds like they've done to other genes of EDM music. having fun @ the clubs is awesome when you are with your fellow TA's & visiting TA's as well. Your TA house parties bring more celebrations with each other & give you a bond with your friends.
All the friendship everyone has why only have it away from the board??? why not have it on the board as well?? Doing so everyone remains tight & the way i see it peeps can share funny moments that you can see or experience with them, but some see it as childish/juvenile/ useless posts.
to sum it up... for those who think the board has gone to & that the OLD SKOOL peeps do not post it's because of reason A or because reason B is SO wrong.. ( my opinion)
then by splitting up the ATL forums & the Miami forums, we won't cross none of your paths with the usless threads & let the SOFLTA's have no conflicts of anyones interest. I guarantee you, if the split up happens.... The Atl TA's & SOFLTA's will get along a whole lot better.

Ok so I know I am new to the forum but I thought I would weight in to the topic as the voice of the n00b.
1) Yes I think that threads get hijacked ALL THE TIME.... Yes I think that it is very annoying... I think that it is a split amount of ATLTA's and FLTA's who do the hijacking! So who said that you had to read all the posts? I do not read the reviews of the club activity in Jacksonville because it has no interest to me. So, because it does not matter to me, should I get pissed that people are posting it? Hell no, it is a free forum and let people post what they want. Just stop the hijacking and I think that it solves 50% of the problem.
2) People here are sometimes rude. Does that turn off people from posting? I am sure that it does. Further more, I think that it makes n00bs timid about posting. Solution: Crack down on people being rude. They can post, they can even joke, but why does there have to be a need to put down other people? That solves 48% of the problem.
So far for those kids of you who are not good at math, we have solved 98% of the problems. (50% + 48% = 98%) You are SOL on solving the other 2% because no one will ever be able to agree on what that 2% is!
3) As far a FL having their own forum.... From all I have heard from the people who know a few FLTAs, I think it will turn into a remake of "The Lord of the Flies" where they will end up painting their faces and spearing each other for MOD rights and ego trips. Could be fun to watch now that I think about it! How will it all end up? Most of the FLTAs who come up here to party because the LIKE US, will still post in the ATL forum. Some ATLTAs, namely the ones who are in love with Melly, will cross over to post into the FL section. The people who want to spam, whore, hijack and be rude will still do it. They will just have to click one extra button to do so. In the end, we will still have the same problems just two separate forums to have them in. I say quit the bitching and start coming up with RULES about posting that are fair and if that does not make the joint forum better, then split them up!
Just the thought of someone who has not been around long enough to be involved in all this drama! |

I spoke to mdamon after he got suspended. I told him, the one who got suspended, why he was suspended as he called me a loser. Since you're such a good friend, didn't you stop to ask?

After checking my pm list, only you PMed me about Atlanta promoter's behavior. Since you're so interested in fairness, according to my calculations, I can warn this promoter about 4 more times before I will go ahead and suspend him. ;) And you know what else would be fair? Calling you a terrible user. :haha:

P.S. While we're all so interested in stopping drama. Do you or anyone else need a lesson on how to be discreet about the drama? Instead of long drawn out threads and posts for all the world to see, a better solution, which no one has ever thought to use, would be to PM/AIM me. Ask me directly what happened to damon. By fueling all those threads, you are creating your own drama. Maybe you can save that little tip for your new moderator. |
