if i get pulled over by the cops for being black im giving them the finger.
the gun violence is really getting stupid but to suggest that cops randomly search young black men is even more stupid.

i dont agree with this tactic however its high time the black community (and the politically correct politicos) get their heads out of their asses and start dealing with this problem head on. Otherwise this wacky suggestion of today may very well become public policy of tomorrow.
The general population's tolerence is being tested to the extreme these days and if we dont do something to curb the violence then the black community will fall on its own sword when it comes to the rest of canada.
In short, right now we are giving them a chance to solve the problem themselves. If they refuse to then everyone else will solve it for them. |

at least it was a black guy who said it. So there wont be any unfounded accusations of racism. Although im sure we will hear the terms traitor and sell out in the next few days.
I get the feeling this guy is trying to shock the black community into action and doesnt really think that there should be random searches. If this is the case then good for him for at least trying a different approach rather than the same old "lets hire more black cops and forget about it, that will solve everything!!" |

haha, j/k! ;) this proposition seems absolutely ridiculous to me...I think (and hope) this type of "initiative" would be struck down in court before it even saw the light of day if it was pursued by anyone.
Let's offend an entire community because a few people were killed? ok. I'd hate to imagine the response to a serial rapist on the loose where race was a consistent factor...lynch mobs?
I don't think we're anywhere near the "out of control" situation that could possibly warrant that kind of sanctioned discrimination. |

I think this Michael Thompson should be the first to be pulled over and be "randomly" searched then "randomly" beaten down because hell he's black he must be doing something wrong. :rolleyes:
This gun violence may be a issue the black comminuty needs to face but they should not face it alone as it is an issue our whole culture is responsible for. Aside from an obvious socio-economic catalyst for poverty, crime and violence we need to ask why popular culture has deemed "thugism", gangster styles and lifestyles cool or desirable. Oh sorry 50 Cent took a bullet for every billion dollars he's made - a true mark of success... If that don't justify why some 15 year old wanna be gangster has to walk around with a chip on his shoulder and a 9mm in his drawers I don't know what does. :rolleyes: Its sad that these kids think its cool to be this way but we shouldn't really blame them cause look at the role models corporate society has given them. Change needs to start at the top. |
