| when i first got my license i was in indiana and i saw gas for .99 cents a gallon. it cost $12 to fill up. now its like $35. but i take the train to work so its not a big deal for me. i fill up like once every other week unless im going downtown on the weekends. the last time i was at the gas station this old lady was complaining about gas while she was filling up her mercedes SUV. i looked at her and laughed. she got mad at me. :) |

yep, us europeans pay through the nose for petrol
i can't put regular (95 RON) fuel in my car, i have to put 98 RON fuel called Optimax which Shell sell.
it costs more and i just paid 97.9p per litre and i only spent 10 pounds in total...its only going to last me about 40-50 miles!!! |

actually cars made after 2000 dont need high test fuel because modern engines are engineered to take less oxygenated fuel and oxygenate it in house...
so high test fuel = obsolete except for old performance cars...
btw i drive diesel which is for some ed up reason more expensive :wtf: supply/demand |

I hope you're not driving a TJ (Wrangler). If you are you'd best stop putting the high test fuel in there. |

there were a few engine problems with it and three different mechanics and the dealership's mechanics all recommended to start using premium. havent had a problem since.. except an empty wallet :D |

I think it's around $2.50/gallon here in Portland, but it makes me happy because it's causing fewer SUV sales, and more people are taking mass transit. :)
I pay roughly $20/month for a bus pass which gets me anywhere on the bus, train, or streetcar that I want in nearly the same amount of time as driving. I get exercise, I don't pollute, don't pay for gas, get to watch people, and don't have to worry about insurance or any of that other .
Everybody who lives in the city should quit their bitching and drive less unless it's absolutely necessary.:) |

1 US gallon = 3.785 Litres. So our price here is...
$6.17 per gallon.
Therefore i come to the conclusion that you should STFU with your bitching about $3 a gallon :p |
hahah Exactly! |
