yeah it's insane, I'm paying 46 times that!
but I wouldn't wanna live there. would like the gas prices here, though ;)
btw.: what's the most fuel-consuming car you know of?
I am a big TopGear fan so there's obviously the Ford GT40 which got a lousy 4 miles to the gallon, and there was a Mitsubishi Evo that even only got 3.9
not sure how that convert's to US-mpg, as the UK gallon is a differnt size... |

true euro's pay out of their ass for their gas. But they also don't have to drive the massive distances that most americans have to drive (generally speaking).
$2.89 a gallon for 87 octane in Los Angeles. |
87 octane?? I wouldnt put that in my lawnmower..
Actually, I wouldnt even put 91 octane (which is 'regular' in Australia) in the lawnmower.
I think the Japanese have the right idea. I've heard that their tiest fuel is 98 octane. You get a heap more mileage, plus its cleaner and better for the engine. I dont know why people dont use it more.

man I think I'd slit my wrists if gas got above $6 here. My daily driver gets 16 mpg. My weekend muscle car gets 10 mpg. Driving is my life. And life would end @ $6 per gallon |
10mpg? how lovely.. I hope it gets to $10/gallon just for the fact that you were stupid enough to buy such a ty car

For those people, i hope the price goes up to $20/gallon. |

Plus, lets be thankful this aint the 1970's.. dont be fooled by all the talk about "record" oil prices. Oil is only about half as expensive (in real terms) than it was 30 years ago.
edit: if you cant see the picture, turn off your firewall |

ah, c'mon...those cars aren't meant to get good mpg, they are sport/racing vehicles. what you are saying is like saying "a super-computer should only need 120W at the most, using 2kw or more is stupid" ...which it isn't. it has it's use, as racing-cars have |

I wouldn't call a 1969 Dodge Charger a "ty" car ;) |
