For those people, i hope the price goes up to $20/gallon. |
ah, c'mon...those cars aren't meant to get good mpg, they are sport/racing vehicles. what you are saying is like saying "a super-computer should only need 120W at the most, using 2kw or more is stupid" ...which it isn't. it has it's use, as racing-cars have |
I suppose the GT40 was built for racing, fair enough, but lets take the "SUV's" that Americans are so obssesed with. Firstly, they're not sports cars, most of them are not utilities, and they're barely vehicles at that.. so the term SUV is just plain wrong :)
anyway, back to my point.. take the Ford F250. what good is this car? its a piece of gas guzzlin penis-extension built for rednecks. The quicker the gas price gets to US$20/gallon the better... just to get these fukers off the road. |

yeah I see you point, but I get 7 liters/100 km at the moment and it's almost too much at 5.57 $/gallon already.
I take the train whenever I can (to work), but I still need and want my car. |

$2.47 today in San Antonio.
I am so glad I traded in my F150 for a 4 cylinder Mazda 6.
I wish we had better mass transit here, but the people with money always vote down light rail and other initiatives that could really help out people who need it. |

Average prices here:
95: €1.28 ($1.57) / litre >>> $5.94 / gallon
98: €1.31 ($1.61) / litre >>> $6.09 / gallon
Enough so i don't drive much nowadays but use publics and ride a bike or walk. |

1 US gallon = 3.785 Litres. So our price here is...
$6.17 per gallon.
Therefore i come to the conclusion that you should STFU with your bitching about $3 a gallon :p |
