i've got a 1.1 saxo atm so i would imagine his tank is bigger.
i've started driving a lot more conservatively recently as it's getting silly now, can squeeze bout 50mpg out which is pretty good goin like.

Same here. When i first got the car i drove it stupidly doing 50mph in 2nd gear, etc (as u do with your first car) for a while, but now i try and use the gears efficiently - and it actually makes a big difference, seems to go for longer now :) |

I filled up the tank for the VW Golf wagon the other day .... 65 euros that's 80 bucks :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:
That was vacation coming back and then spent like 40 bucks in toll booths for a 6 hour trip.
It's outrageous here!
Super gas prices in France :p
But yeah I remember when I moved to the US in 2001 and the prices were at 1.10 / gallon if even that

| man I think I'd slit my wrists if gas got above $6 here. My daily driver gets 16 mpg. My weekend muscle car gets 10 mpg. Driving is my life. And life would end @ $6 per gallon |
