Tiesto in Concert: DC date change, Pics from LA

We are posting this message concerning the DC Tiesto in Concert event on the site tonight, which reflects a very hard choice for us to make, but we can't figure another way around it in terms of the production.
On a positive note, we have amazing pictures from the LA show that we sent out to the press and will go up on the site on Monday:

Tiёsto in Concert US Tour
August 26, 2005
After careful consideration, the producers of the Tiёsto in Concert US Tour, Angel LIVE have decided to postpone the Washington DC event at the MCI Center on Friday, October 21, 2005. After our experience with the site build in LA last week, we realized we do not have enough time to build the site properly in the narrow window between the end of U2’s show Friday morning and the opening of doors at 8:30 pm that night. To do so would require a compromise to the scale of the production and/or the safety of the aerial performers, none of which are viable options for Angel LIVE. We are actively in discussions with the MCI Center for a 2006 reschedule.
On behalf of Tiёsto, who was incredibly excited about the DC show, and Angle LIVE, we apologize for the change of schedule. Following the phenomenal success of Los Angeles on August 20, we are excited to do it again and look forward to seeing everyone in Miami for the October 27 event, which is on sale currently, along with the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans on October 29. The New Year’s Eve Event will be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and tickets will go on sale September 3, 2005. |

well... somebody took too much responsibility and promised to build a proper Dj booth in one night right after two shows of U2 at MCI.
I'm not surprised it's cxl. Plus Tijs wouldn't play such a huge event without rehearsals.
No booth, no rehearsals - no TIC in DC.
Pity but we can live without it. Miami and New Orleans are still on the schedule (so far)... |

yeah ur rite, but it still sux because i was looking forward to this :(

Why not....called Hilton and cancelled lol.
Guess I will go 2 Miami although I kinda am not into Tiesto anymore....rather see a Morillo or Tenaglia in conert:haha: |

I doubt tiesto needs to rehearse(he has the smile and the arms in the air thing mastered), maybe the performers though.... |

| I just dont get it i mean the whole thing... A dj in concert???? DJ??????? They just play other peoples records wtf? It would be cool if tiesto got up there with a band and ripped on some synths and , but we all know he doesnt even write or produce the majority of his tunes..... And people wonder why im always complaining about the scene because like this.. |
