on a totally unrelated but kinda related note, am i the only one that keeps having problems with Sony headphones (well, not headphones, those small things you put inside of your ear)? i keep buying them for my MD and after some time i start hearing some vibration on the right side everytime some bassy sounds come up, it keeps getting worse and worse until it's unlistenable. happens the same for all of them

the headphones, I got 400W and 500W amps wired to this computer with about 13 subs, so I could theoretically push 900W. No sane person would do that though because starts falling down at pure 400W.

"fontopia"? dunno, never heard that word. i mean those standart ones that come with any MD or discman. is that considered "headphones", "earplugs" or what, i don't know the correct term for it?

i'm wondering whether the problem is on the brand of phones or the MD

it's worth investing in good headphones. Freaquency range & quality is very important.

Congrats Clovis. enjoy :p

if they go into your ear: earbuds
it they go into your ear canal: In Ear Monitor

I suggest you get something else. It sounds like you're buying crap.

Buy some Shure E2C or some Etymotic's

I'd like to find something that gives similar sound but cheap enough and compact enough to wear to the gym. I mix with HDJ-1000's and and listen on the cpu with MDR-V500's.......and then at the gym I downgrade to some $15 earbud Sony's. /fartnoise

Boy, are you way off target. At 900W, two amps and a pile of subs, I can make it sound any way I want. I do have tons of filters and controls for each, BTW and that's a given. What a f*cking fool to think otherwise...unless you only listen on pathetic headphones instead of real sound...
