here's me 2 cents...
if ryan and marissa did break up and one moved away from newport, but then came back to find the other with someone else, they'd go crazy for each other, like they do, and end up breaking it off with the other person to be together. i mean, yeah, marissa takes ryan for granted 98% percent of the time, but being from newport, she'd be like that. most people in newport are selfish and have everything handed to them anyways |

| i can only see either seth and summer or ryan and marissa ending up together in the end. it's hard for me to image that both will be together when all is said and done. i honestly couldn't see ryan and marissa being able to function as couple building towards a life together. but it's all in the writing, so we'll see what josh and co. has planned |
