DAMN THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!
Hernan brought it.. and i mean BROUGHT it.. i was loving his sets the whole way through.. i didnt think i would have enough energy for oakenfold's set by the time he was done..
Oakenfold just dropped a bombshell.. he played all the favs.. including southern sun.. damn.. i was literally breathless and my legs were on fire when oaken finished..
Lastly, for Marco V, I was just too damn tired to even dance.. i managed to kill about 1/2 an hour for his set.. and when i got outside.. he started to play some sick .. cant remember the track name.. but it was sick..
all in all.. i met some of you totas.. i am sorry that i dont remember most of your names.. but i will try my best to get the names rite..
1st of all.. the most important person.. magikb(Jen) for introducing me to these following totas..

took the ttc.. just got home after 2 and a 1/2 hours of ride.. and found 2 highschool friends who were at the guv.. (surprise surprise) and man.. rite now.. i am dead tired.. my legs are killing me.. and i need some rest..
hoping to c the pics from jen and [nfc]wave.. as i remember.. i dont know who else took pics.. but hey.. if you got my pic in there.. you better post it..
on another note.. one of the things i hated the most at the guv was the fact that the washroom facilities were CRAP.. come on.. i use to think my highschool washrooms were disgusting.. but guv beat the disgusting record by a longshot.. never in my life have i seen more than 50 ppl trying to use 4 seats and 4 faucets.. (oh yea.. forgot to mention the over-crowded-ness..)
damn.. thats it.. i am exhausted.. oh and i keep forgetting.. this was my first night ever to go clubbing.. and it was great for the most part..:D.. the lesser part is in the above paragraph.. just something you should keep in mind.. and ihave no more energy to write or correct my mistakes in this post..
summary.. gr8 night.. long queues.. over crowded.. filthy :( ..

Just got back!!
I felt like i went to HELL TONITE and got BURNT FROM HEAD TO TOE!

it's 9AM. Eight and a half hours to go at work, then ride home and I will finally get some long and well deserved sleep after 62 hours killing marathon!

Mark Oliver's closin' set was quite an impressive BANG ON BLAST!
Oakenfold had the crowd goin' mental by droppin' Trance Classics..
Hernan' set was unexpected....Hope to see him back here in Toronto soon!

| Hernan put Oaky to shame, it was just downright disrespectful, he couldnt follow after a set like that, just brilliant. This was probably one of my best nights at guv, I dont understand why they dont have this guy in toronto more often instead of bringing in the same djs all the time. |

| Still can't fall asleep from last night, so i decided it was time to throw in my 2 cents worth...I've read the reviews so far and must say that i have to disagree with a lot of the opinions on last night. I missed most of Cattaneo, but what i heard at the end of his set wasn't that impressive. Saw Oakanfold for the first time and overall i thought he was pretty good. He dropped some nice tunes and overall kept the crowd in the groove for his set. Of course i would have liked to hear some more nice songs from him, but that's usually the case. Mark Oliver, however, with the exception of Find killed my night. I don't know what kind of he dropped, but it totally killed my mood. I could've kept dancing, but the music was not pumping me up at all. What really made my night though was spending it with some quality TA's that know how to party! Patio was definately the place to be...shoutouts to Nada, Ali, Vlad, Sasha, Ola, Andrea, Tyler, Aris, Magic B, Marty and Rene. You guys are awesome and kept up my good vibe last night. Hope to party again with you all soon!!!! |
