Hi,
This one with v-station sounds very good! :)
Did you use EQ on it to get it so bright? If so, which EQ and which settings?
Also, could you PLEASE post the patch for this!
Actually, I would like to ask this to everybody, if you post an mp3, could you also post the patch of it and give info like EQ settings etc.. so that other people can also make that sound. A production forum like this is about helping each other! I really hope people still have that spirit in mind when they come here. Thanks!!
Last remark: if you post, use a link that stays alive.. if you don't have your own webspace, just get a free webhosting account.. there are enough out there.. Thanks!! |

Hey guys!
im having some problem with my own supersaw, the first thing is that it totally blows my cpu away even when i start with 10% cpu load..
the second thing is the release is so long that it interferes with other notes etc, its anoying as hell.
btw im using sytrus and im quite noob at it :D.
anyone knows how to fix the release/sustain or whatever it might be and the cpu problems? |

If you use the combinator in Reason, you can essentially have as many oscillators as you want. Subtractor comes with 2 oscillators as standard, but just keep adding more and more units into the combinator and detuning each oscillator until the supersaw is as full as you wish. You can also patch an LFO to the oscillator phase for extra fatness. Maybe even add a hint of unison to taste.
Combinator is your best friend. |
