I def had an awsome time in SF. The EDM scene in SF is totally different than the EDM scene in NYC. I def cant wait to go back.

I didnt get to meet any of the TA's there but it was all good. I knew they were around in the huge crowd. A few ppl did come up to me and asked if i was a TA since i was wearin my VANDIT NYTA shirt.

Nice pics man. lol at the In N Out pic. Most cali visitors trip out over tht burger joint. but they do have the best burgers in cali.

Looks like you guys had the right idea when visiting, you went out to see the sights and enjoyed the entire experience. awesome.

I went there by myself. :( I don't have any friends who really like trance, and I'm a new resident of San Fransisco. Since I have been busy with school and my apartment doesn't get an internet connection, I haven't been able to keep up to date with the latest music either.

So when I heard all the music at the Spundae float I was about to cry. The music was sooo good and I could barely name any songs. There was this one vocal song in particular that was played at the LoveParade and AfterParty. I think Above and Beyond played it as well. I couldn't make out the lyrics though... If anyone might remotely have any clue as to what I'm talking about please, I'd like to know!

The AfterParty consisted mostly of asian people--chinese i think lol
and there were so many ppl sitting in the back of Stage2 (the A&B/B&J room). Now I don't usually goto raves but I'm guessing a lot of those people were high on E? lol >.< (I usually goto trance clubs.)

So yeah I felt that stage2 had a lil bit too much treble for comfort so I hung out in the main stage for a while. I never really followed up on Markus Schulz much before but MAN HE WAS FOOKING AWESOME!!!
and Ferry was great as usual.

It was a lonely night for me, but the music was great

Haha, you went to the Mystery Spot. I love that place. Although only good once...no real need to go back :-p

I MUST say this, Ferry did tear the place apart in LP.... seriously, this is the best performance I've heard from him... anyone in the music scene should know what I mean...
*regret for not voting him the #1 DJ in the poll* (because of his effort made him the BEST you know)
*I gave the finger to PvD (he's still a talent no doubt) in the parade*
:disbelief

I though Ferry played a better set on the float than in the civic center...in the Civic Center he played mainly all classic anthems...OK, that was awesome...for the time I was there (we left a little before 4 to beat everyone rushing out)...

On the float, wowowowow....when he played Marc Marberg - Guarana (which I fell in llooooooveee with thanks to the Markus Schulz spirit set), I about fainted. I loooooooveee that track so much. Whenever I feel tired, I just put that track on and I'm ready to go!

The only vocal tracks I remember A&B playing were Oceanlab - Sirens of the Sea (their opening track) and Above and Beyond - Air For Life (Mirco De Govia Remix). I'm guessing you're talking about Air For Life.

No the trucks just need to drive all the way on the left shoulder of the road, not down the middle. I had trouble keeping up with the floats I wanted to also because the 'moving' parading space on the front side of the float was about two-persons wide and lot of those people were either too ed up or just didn't know how to KEEP UP with the float. That was incredibly irritating. I kept getting pushed to the back of the float, and would have to speedwalk up to the front along the backside only to get pushed back along the frontside again.

I liked how the floats were set up along one side of the truckbed, great soundstaging that way. Try arranging those enormous speakers along the 6-7 feet width of the bed along with a dj booth and dancers.

oh yeah, the roadways in Berlin were twice as wide as Market St. How forgetful of me.

They can't drive all the way to the left cause of the trolley entrance areas. Having everyone on one side of the truck of course would cause peeps to clog up...cause you get the occasional idiots that just stop in a moving crowd.

Let the sounds be heard clear and free on both sides of the truck. If peeps were on both sides or even more to the rear...I don't think they'd have this 'clog up' problem next year.

Good point tho on keeping up, I wasn't sure if it was the people in front of me or if the trucks were just moving too fast.

Could it have been Oceanlab - Sirens Of The Sea? Both KvA and A&B played their own version. The most memorable lyrics go "take my hand, take my hand"...

Incidentally, Tony mentioned that they are waiting for Justine to give them the greenlight to release it :wtf:

Oops, just saw fury's reply a few posts above :o
