Wow! What can i say? I think i had the greatest time....EVER! I been to alot of places and did alot of things... nothing before was as great as that day! People that helped this day/night great: Dj Faded, Neinerlove, Sweetcandy girl, tk422, Dj Woody, Karen loves to party, and MissJenna????...I forgot her TA name, so did she! uhmm Elisha!
Thank you Kris for making my Loveparade / Orbital32 shirt. I LOVE IT :D Thanks Dj Woody and Alisha for taking care of me at night... (I'll leave that part at that.)
Sad knowing that you couldn't go to the afterparty Evan. There's always next year!
I already miss all you guys :( can't wait for monster massive though.

MISSED MOST OF THE PARADE BUT WAS @ THE AFTERPARTY !!!! IT ROCKED!!!!
during the end of CARL COX'S set, and in the middle front of the stage, some guy named rocky was sharing a joint of what I thought was weed but it was actually like laced with PCP and who the knows what else so after taking a few hits i was surely ed up. so no more sharing w/ people. sheeeeeesh. but I'm ok now!!!!!!
DEEP VOICES played great, I thought their set was crazy and super hard, and since I was coming onto the pcp-laced weed I had to get out of there and on to the Drum and Bass room, where the more ed up ppl are. hahaha I definitely think trance and drum and bass are like + and - , meaning , opposing music forces, like yin and yang.
anyway there was JON B playing some bad ass (it sounded bad ass to me because I was beyond ed up) he played some track with a robotic voice saying "I'm your robot boy..." and the ****** JON B even danced like a robot and preety good too, that was preety wicket to have a dj break and do some like the robot (I can't do it well)
well got out of there and saw DJ Dan and Bad Boy Bill, blah, but since I was ed up I could actually STAND BAD BOY BILL!!!!!
SHOWS YOU HOW ED UP MY JUDGEMENT WAS ! HAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHHA!
Anyhow saw MIKE KOGLIN and thought that was some badass trance!!!!
sorry I dont care if its old that was GREAT! and I was digging his shirt which used the SONY logo to spell out "NOYS" that was rad!
then onto the massive sets of MARKUS SHULTZ and FERRY. MARKUS played great, he is a good dj, but sorry nobody touches FERRY's energy.
He is the MAN OF LOVE PARADE 2005 . He totally rocked the party!!!
FERRY CORSTEN = AWESOME
LOWS - paying $7 for a beer gets old fast
smoking laced weed and not knowing it = bad

personally i liked the parade more than the afterparty. it's a combination of me having more energy earlier on, being able to talk, see and mingle with people, the perfect weather (daylight was cool for a change and it was nice being able to dance for nine hours without suffocating in a lack of club ventilation), the collective mass of edm fans (as opposed to people splitting off to their own parties after 9), the market st/civic plaza environment, and it was just more relaxing overall i felt. anyway i thought everything about the weekend was AMAZING from lee burridge to bill graham. the main stage in bill graham was amazing, sound and visuals.
since a lot of people missed the day parade, thought i'd post some pics...

This video was taken by fury...I'm just hosting it. Its about 30mins of Markus' set at the Skillz/Spundae float. Highlight is during Without You Near the whole crowd goes nuts and Markus is all grins...you can tell he's hella happy. Damn this video makes me want to see Markus spin live again. Anyways video is compressed to a smaller res to help shrink its size. The video is .MP4 so if you have trouble playing it in Windows Media Player use Quicktime...and if you don't have QT you can use VLC Viewer (I've included a link to the program if you don't have it, its only 4MB) Video and sound are good, hope you all enjoy, I sure did. Thanks fury and I look forward to the Carl Cox vid tomorrow. :)

Just to let you know, He just changed the file extention of the file itself from .mpg to .mp4, The reason cause you can play the .MP4 file into WMP, As long as you have Nero 6 installed, But I'm gonna make a divx version of this video, hopefully it will be a little smaller. |
